That first failed run was definitely just a matter of Olexa having 2 brain cells, but that's the Olexa we know and love. This game seems really cool, thanks for sharing it.

I swear when i first started watching Olexa it was because he made smart decisions and was also enjoyable to watch. But it seems like the youtube goblins just suck all the brain power from the youtuber over time. Like you said tho, still love olexa content lol.

Tbf it's probably a bit challenging to play the game well and also try to be engaging/entertaining at the same time. You typically do see him improve if he decides to make the game into a series.

Why th did he take that 2 pwr Cricket unit lmaoo couldve added ANY random troup to his already decent team for the remaining hp. First run was terrible to watch bro was just clicking 😭😭🤣

Nah, this game is legit quite fun. It takes a bit to understand but I found myself wanting to go back in and play again after I ended my episode. Hell the episode is an hour long lol

I guarantee it’ll have another 100 buys today after this video. Low reviews doesn’t equal a bad game. Just means the marketing wasn’t great. My channel is devoted to finding hidden gem games, and this one is a little hidden gem. It’s rough and uncut, but still a gem

Olexa is actualy 2 people : 1st is a smart person who thinks ahead with his moves 2nd has 2 braincells that fight each other XD

honestly i think this is rly neat! i think approaching it as a roguelike (instead of, i guess, an rpg?) led to some frustration - when you died and loaded back at the save, when you had to go through all the dialog again after starting a new "run" etc. but overall i do kinda like it. its cute and it looks like theres some neat puzzley potential

This was a bit of a rough start learning the language of the game, but I hope you stick with it. You can already start to see more strategic depth to the creature combinations and puzzle scenarios down the road

I realized at 32:33 that thing and wulver go hard cause if you are meticulous you can swap them to make wulver give 10 to the fighting ally and thing will go up to 5 from thing and them swap wulver back up and it can make ally gain 10 power again

how is there so much charm packed into such a little game

My first impression - this smells a lot like Dragon Quest Monsters... I'm intrigued

I see how the effects work. Any effect with a + in it's background only pops if it's in the blue + tile. doesn't seem like it was explained (or I missed that part of the video) Edit: Oh you figured it out. yeah honestly should of been explained a bit better XD

I am a big fan of your content. I think I may have found a good game for your channel. Spellslinger by Doobyredwizard is a great word game that rewards strategy and planning as much as big braining long words. Definitely worth a look. It seems to be right up your alley.

Passing on that wolf with the "Reduce this beast's health to buff the ally" is wild considering he already came across a weaker version of it. Then he goes on to be surprised by being allowed to reroll the shop when he literally read that message out loud "You can leave and come back to refresh the shop" 🤦🤦‍♂️🤦‍♀️

the boss battle that made you lose your third heart.... all you literally had to do was give the bandit both equipment. place the dragon on the spell slot and the bandit on the Vs Slot, recruit one thing and you would win i think (my quick thoughts let me math it out now) dr=dragon d=dog b=bandit f=fairy Gr= green rat W= witch K= Ivy (i just looks weird) R=random unit. bandit +4 +2 Bandit starts at 12 Dr+3 f-3 (dead) {Dr6>D5} +7 no target to Fairy b10 vs f (dead) (you trigger first so) Dr+3 D-3 {Dr9>W7} Witch Sets all 3 to 10! B12 Vs D10 bandit is left with 2 Dr+3 W -3 {Dr12>K10} Ivy No effect (if like last round) B2 vs W7 witch is left With 5 No effects. Dr15 VS W5 dragon left with 10. Dragon Vs ivy both die GREEN RAT!!! is left..... looks like i was wrong on needing to recruit someone... but this was a quick thought on seeing the abilities layout so i say "close enough" Witch Sets all 3 to 10! I mean the tutorial doesnt explain the plus/mana-spell/V stuff and such, but at the same time Olexa is quiet dense sometimes, so can we really blame the game? cuz i know i got the premise before him- then again he has to see something 5 times, while i need to see it once to udnerstand, they def need a better tutorial though-
