Again for the kids in the back: “The intelligence explosion starts BEFORE the AI is at a human level.”

The "intelligence explosion" started with the first Humans, 1000s of years ago. E.g. Chimps and other Apes have had a very slow intelligence growth. It was just early Human Apes that got this sudden 2x brain increase... And out Technology (e.g. fire, agriculture, wheel, metals, computers, etc) are just continuing that same exponential growth since then... (Source: see Ray Kurzweil's books)

Just _four hours_ after Alpha zero was given the rules to chess and only allowed to play itself, it got better than the best chess playing entity known to humans at the time, Stockfish. Apparently, it took roughly half that time to get better than Magnus Carlsen.

+1 for separate clips channel (or at least shorts, but make them, u know, short, which won't make a lot of sense with this type of content).

Your assumption that this is new is understandable but the clip is a year old. This is recycling content and disrespectful if not labelled as such to the audience

can you stop posting so many clips from a year ago without titling it "2023". I might have to unsubscribe, it's like the boy who cried wolf. it's all these uploads but it's always from a year ago which in AI terms is like a decade

@@harml3ss28 Yeah, I know what "air gapped" is,. Its just that literally no one ever does this. And they probably never ever will? E.g. The first thing that any huge LLM gets is access to the internet, to make searches to get up-to-date post-training info... "Air gapped" is only a hypothetical term at this point...
