We need a new definition of "luxury". This apartment is a ridiculous price for the amount of actual liveable space. Everything about the interior signifies middle income lifestyle which is ok if the price was 2-3K. The real estate industry obviously believe in their own propaganda. Soul destroying blandness marketed as luxury is obscene.

I know Manchester has had a lot of investment going throughout the years but that apartment is not worth £5,500pm! I have been to Manchester through the years and it's a pretty place but feel it's always competing with London. Having said that I like the Kitchen, nice and simple with a good colour scheme, same with the bathrooms as well. But other than that it looks a bit bland with the TV stuck in the corner when it should be in a central position really and the pillar just gets in the way. Another thing is all these companies who are adding amenities which is also helping to ramp up the price, I would just rather pay for the apartment than pay extra for the unwanted amenities.

I don’t even think it’s Manchester trying to compete, this is just a developer taking the piss…I can’t believe any Manc would rent this, I certainly wouldn’t. There are loads of apartments in the city centre at half this price which are larger, and far better fitted out than this. This has to be the most overpriced apartment I’ve seen in the city centre. If this rents I’ll be astonished!

5.5k in manchester is crazy...

Was there a mistake in the Rental price.....£66,000 a year - someone's having a giraffe !! In Real Estate there's an Asking Price, a Liking Price and a Taking Price...This falls into the category of a DREAMING PRICE.

Wtf?! I live at embassy gardens in a 2 bed flat in CENTRAL london, with a bigger square footage, access to the sky pool and all other facilities (indoor pool, cinema room, games room, office spaces, etc. ) included and my rent there is £3,300pcm. This is absolutely outrageous

Even this apartment is way more expensive than the ones in London that has more facilities and better views starting from £2000. This is rip-off!

I totally agree, on every point, great video, unbelievable laughable price.

It's a very nice and practical flat for an individual or a couple if they prefer to live in a high-rise building in the city, but the rent is very high! I'm guessing that somebody invested over a million and tries to get over 5% returns!

Ridiculously expensive and not worth it.

You must be joking, for Manchester! The apartment is not that big! I'd also like to know how a bit of grey carpet in the Bedroom is 'Bespoke'!

The square footage, and decor-(nothing special!) communal amenities, is not worth £5,500pm... not at all!

I viewed many apartments in Manchester with much higher floor, better facilities and around same size. 2-3K is reasonable. Of course you can list whatever you want. Why not list at £8,000? Even more eye catching 🤣🤣

I mean its cool and probably only rented out for a month at a time by people travelling that can afford it but you'd have to be silly to live there and pay that every month.

i think it is outrageous too, if it is a two level 3000SF duplex penthouse will make more sense. But a two bed apartment???!!

I have a massive balcony overlooking the river in the greenest part of london with huge rooms and I don’t pay that price.

As a Mancunian, i don't know why people rate the city centre. it's too crowded and expensive. the suburbs are great in my opinion

I somewhat doubt the owner will get anywhere near £5k/month for this flat. It’s a lovely small flat but I can’t imagine anyone paying more than £2k/month for it.

I'd willingly pay 2.5k a month for it... IF it had an indoor pool as well. Right now my flat I pay 1.8k a month for is the same size, just built in 2020, very similar interior structure... BUT mine has absolutely 0 amenities besides a free parking spot. I get my flat and that's it. I'm seriously looking to upgrade to something with a gym, pool, communal area, etc. . As an American it's very odd for me to see ANY apartments that don't have these amenities. Before my job moved me to the UK I was paying $900 a month for a 3 bedroom apartment with air conditioning, 1400sq/ft, 2 full bathrooms, top floor, and it still came with a community pool, hot tub, lounge, gym, etc.

"lesser known area of cutting room square"... "the ARRON-DALE shopping centre"...

It's so unpleasant in Manchester city centre these days in terms of antisocial behaviour/violent crime who in their right mind would pay that sort of ridiculous money to have that literally right on their doorstep. Anyone with any sense lives on the outskirts.
