Oh yeh they were crazy. Heighest I’ve been and wouldn’t a sofa point outwards so I could just look at hat view watching the sun rise and set

Great video! Since the UK left the EU, were more starting to re build our economy with new buildings. I’m from Liverpool and it’s been stuck in it’s village type but new skyscrapers are being built and planned. That’s the excitement for Liverpool. Nice to see Manchester with new skyscrapers. We need more modern tall buildings in UK cities.

Good video Andy. I’m totally intrigued with sky scrapers myself too. The views there are amazing. I couldn’t imagine how it would be to wake up to it every day, but I also fear someone could stop appreciating it after a short time of being able to experience it every single day. Shame there isn’t a rooftop patio to fly the drones off 😂

yeh honesly James thats what i thought after spending time there. Dont get me wrong the views are awesome and i would love to see so many sunrises and sunsets, night time city views etc but i wonder when you just start looking inward watching telly and walking past the windows and not look out. HAHA on yeh i wish, well there does supposed to be a roof terrace but not that i have seen yet

Drone UK yes I think it’s just human nature to do that eventually. Maybe best to enjoy visiting them and appreciating views the most haha. I’m obsessed with going to high buildings/structures and the views. But funnily enough I’m real scared of heights lol. All about the amazing views....hence why Drones are the best 😁

Definitely on that Manchester skyscraper vibe. Was just wondering if you noticed a way to open the windows / get some fresh air inside because if not that would drive me nuts personally. Love a good balcony too (although probably not at 44 floors up 😂). Also the fact that you can see Jodrell Bank is insane!

Wow that view was awesome, And the Penthouse was just unbelievable, the size of that bathroom, I didn't know that Penthouses had an upstairs lol. Great stuff mate, We really do need to catch up again buddy.

Awesome buildings. Not had the chance to visit them inside. I designed some of the sprinkler system arrangements for them apartments alongside my colleague. Class to see them fitted in there.

Liverpool, Leeds and Birmingham are developing new skyscrapers. Birmingham already has 10 buildings 150 metre+. Some of our cities just don't seem to attract investment. Sheffield and Nottingham are all focused on cheap university accommodation at tge moment

@@c3realK1ll4h I love historic buildings too. Manchester is a young city in comparison to places like York and Chester. I doubt there's any buildings that date before 1780. Only the Tudor pub which they moved brick by brick to make way for a commercial complex.

Yeh it's a landmark for the city now and spawned all kinds of other new skyscrapers

Although it's awesome we're getting some skyscrapers in manchester, most of the really big ones come in clusters and are quite spread out... not sure if it will look so good actually. Regardless, awesome video. I've actually been thinking if it would be possible to sneak up there myself, but you've gone and done it for us.

Shlad with a shlid yeh I wish there was less opposition for having skyscrapers in the centre like the Neville brothers ones which were rejected as too close to the town hall. There will be a big cluster to the south at deansgate and then some north west on the edge of Salford. Cheers for the comment 😁 and glad it’s being enjoyed 🙂

Great video apart from the background music. Nice to know that you can actually purchase the apartments. So many new apartments in tall buildings in the U.K. appear to be for rent only.

Would be amazing iff u could keep us up to date on new skyscrapers going under construction such as the trinity islands

Thanks Elliot. I keep an eye on all the skyscrapers in Manchester and i think the Trinity Islands ones are on hold at the moment. I think Renaker bought it but no approved designs as yet. Be amazing as the tallest was proposed to be taller than the Deansgate South Tower

They’re not finished with the exception of one and my view at night is amazing. My apartment is right across from those ones.

Great video where I’m living at the moment is pretty much 3-4 minutes walk from these buildings and I personally love them, however many people who live near me do not share that view. I think it’s great for the city and once completed the Great Jackson St area should be stunning. Manchester is expanding at an incredible rate but the powers that be just need to be carful that quantity does not come at the expense of quality.

Nice video, only kinda sad to see those big pieces go up obliterating the lovely older brick work buildings. Of course, coming from Chicago, IL usa, we have an amazing downtown that includes both intermixed, so we haven't lost all our history. Still, so much was destroyed. I hope Manchester is considering carefully how they build up & what they are choosing to lose. Our former Mayor Richie Daley, was really good about that. Glad u r so thrilled tho. Peace, Q

QiaJenae Hamilton thanks for the comment 🙂 yeh these new glass towers are very split in their either love or hate them. I quite like them, more really just for their height they are bringing. I do honestly feel confident Manchester will never destroy all its historic buildings which are iconic to be city and the history and generally the city has a good mix that work together

Also, especially with the mirrored glass ones, we have sooooo many dead birds on the sidewalks that hit the bldgs., as they look like the sky around & the birds can't distinguish the difference. Happens each spring & fall the most, during mass migrations. It's worse when it's a rare species. I'm a birder, so I notice it, but there have been news reports abt what architect's can do, using dark coloring, etc... Chicago has soo many famous modern bldgs., but I'm so partial to the old ones. Altho I do appreciate all styles of architecture, thanks! Q

@@droneuk That might help! I know Chicago is along a well worn flight path from birds N-S going from Canada to S. America, so we may also just have more traffic than Manchester, but I don't know a thing about bird-life in England. I know live down s. in NC, so I miss the migrations. The Sandhill Cranes made the most amazing sounds every November & spring! Big flocks!

I would love to visit that part of the country, only ever been New York and Miami, plus a few stops on a Caribbean cruise. I love watching and hearing these little birds of prey we get around our estate, they sound like a cat ha and watch them circling the fields that surround us

oh awesome. What does he do there? i contacted the office there the other week and a lady spoke to me and said she would pass on my details but not heard anything back yet. It was about seeing if someone would allow me to visit the top of the South Tower to make a video for Skyscraper lovers to watch and see the view first person. Its such an iconic Building for Manchester now and the South Tower being the 5th largest in the UK i would love the opportunity to show others the views of the City. Andy

problem is the mancunians.. you can put the best building into manchester but you can't take the aggressive locals out of the area / building. It'll be run down within 6 months.

i can totally appreciate that Greg. I prefer living out in the Countryside with all the fresh air, less traffic and greenery. But i do love a city too and would just want a high rise for the views ha. Might need to invest seen as drones are so black listed these days haha, crying inside

If you actually went there the court yard is so nice and peaceful and expansive and there are river views too it looks great
