He was a once in a lifetime singer, songwriter, master of everything musical. I can't think of any current day singer that compares to his incredible talent. Every time I hear GM I am happy and sad at the same time. GM legacy will continue, there is no end.

I know what you mean. I saw them on American Bandstand in March 1983 and even then you just "knew" he was going to leave the other Four behind. The Timing was perfect because The Second Wave of The British Invasion was beginning. So much talent came from that era.

I think it’s absolutely hilarious what their intention were and how the big labels and other big bands missed it! It’s seriously makes me start cracking up when I think about it. Not saying they didn’t want a band and make a name but the way they wanted to do it while they were achieving it and no one caught on but thought they were serious is really phenomenal and I’d quite honestly should be talked about and recognized. But it would be a bit of an embarrassment I think to the establishment big wigs and the bands that were at the top at that time. And here come these two, acting like fools and having a blast ( with good music) and soar to the top at this remarkable pace never scene before. All the while laughing their arses off at the crap they were doing and everyone else thought they were serious. I am LMAO right now! It’s a story that should have a movie Made about it!!!

I could NEVER get tired of hearing this or watching this.

Same here. My kids were watching the go go video and I stopped and said Who Is THAT!!!!!! so GORGEOUS AND SEXY. Sadly, in my opinion, he reminded me of evil looking like the devil with his dark facial hair around his mouth and chin. I think his inner demons exposed themselves and took him from us. Pretty deep, eh?

I think Andrew's contribution to the path and everything Wham! has been far underestimated. George it seems had more pain and confusion in life, which probably lended itself to his musicality. I wish George were still alive-- wish he could've had Andrew's strength.

I'm George Michael's age and at the time I wrote off Wham and his music as trivial "Pop" but since his death I've been hooked on his music and see now what a real visionary he was. My loss...

There is so much to miss about George. Everything about him was just awesome. We really aren't going to see another GM as he was just that rare of the talent and a human being.

I know what you mean. I gush over Soap Divas and Dancers in Music Videos. Andrew was a very lucky Man. He didn't have the superstar status that George did, but he lived to tell the tale and was happy with his Partner Keren Woodward of Banarama who this year celebrate their 40th Anniversary. Alot of Duos are in that Boat, John Oates, Jim Messina were also living proof of that. The Marquis is also legendary because it's where The Moody Blues & Rolling Stones made their bones.

Wham! and George Michael, music of my youth, and coming of age. This song was such a huge hit. I remember hearing it, watching the video numerous numerous times in early 1986, the year I would later turn 18, become legal age. He had such talent. The look, the beautiful and intense voice, he had so much, and yet his heart, his soul would become broken because of loss. He never could master his own deamons. His private life would make the headlines. We only heard after his death just how generous he was. 😔 I like how much restraint bandmate and friend Andrew Ridgeley shows in Interviews. I rediscovered George Michael through a gf when he had his solo Faith album. Such great music, catchy songs. George Michael is sadly missed. Taken away too early. Of all the artists who passed away that year, including David Bowie's in January 2016, George Michael 's passing in December 2016 at Christmas hit me incredibly hard after a particular difficult year for me personally. We're the same generation, not supposed to die so young. George Michael lives on through his music. RIP 🕊️

I have nothing but love for George Michael and I am so heartbroken.....even more than I thought I could be. Even though he was gay I wanted to have his baby. He was the whole package.....sexy, talented, soulful, articulate, gorgeous and no one delivered a song like he did. What a loss of such a beautiful talented man. I could listen to him sing all day and some days I do. I wish I could have told him what he meant to me and how his words and voice touched my heart. I felt better just knowing that he was in the world.

Libby Wolfson I don't know how Andrew or David Austin or sherley, or his sisters and his dad is coping with the loss. I mean they adored him. he was such a sweet sweet man. I am gutted, still can't get over it, I can only imagine their pain. may Lord give them the strength.

Each day will get a little bit easier. Every single person on this Earth will die one day. It's just unfortunately the cycle of life...

Libby Wolfson thanks for those kind words sweet Libby. it's just that George Michael was such a delightful presence in this otherwise almost awful world. his voice, his words, his spirit were unbeatable. to know that he is alive and will come up with some music some day, or just the fact that he is alive was such a relief. now, there's just an emptiness. but yes, that's life. peace and love to you.
