One of the greatest songs of all time. It’s 40 years ago.

My father was a teacher, so during the summers he was home with me and my brother. Every morning in which he woke up before us, he would wake us up by playing this song. This song represents all of my childhood summers, and will always be my favorite song.

On one level it's a catchy pop song, but if you hear it you unlock another level

Growing up in South Texas in the Early Music Video era, bands like Culture Club, etc. were very polarizing. Given a few years/decades...it speakers VOLUMES às to how we've evolved.❤

I love Culture Club 2024 @ thanking God they are all still here giving us 80"s kids the absolute best music ever !

I was 13 when this song came out. My dad had the album on cassette tape. A little Black boy in the inner city listening to Culture Club on his Sony Walkman. Damn, the 80’s we’re great.

OMG talking a lot memories. While in high school, i would wake up every morning and put this album on my turntable and have the best time while getting ready for school every morning. This was and still is my favorite boy George and culture club song. I adore him.

So I remember this song coming on the radio many times when we had our car rides together or during any family gatherings where she would love to sing and dance to it. Unfortunately, she passed away last month and since then I haven’t listened to this song since until now.
