I'm an American. Every time I listen to this version of the song sung in the two languages in such an incredibly beautiful way, I cry. Thank you for this and to all those souls on the Somme, may you rest in peace.
Prince Tui Teka my grandfather would be so proud miss you grandfather always Teka For Life
Beautiful rendition of an old classic Gospel song. Greetings from an American living, down under, in Perth Australia. The lead singer has a beautiful voice.
I was lucky enough to attend this dawn service on my pilgrimage to see where my great Grandfather fought 100 years ago. it was a moment i will never forget, the immense pride i felt listening to this beautiful voice sing Whakaaria Mai’ as we paid our respects to the New Zealand soldiers that came from the utmost ends of the earth to help liberate the French people.
Five years later still love hearing this singing voice :)
What a beautiful voice and rendition of this wonderful anthem to our Saviour.
God bless New Zealand. Greetings from S.Korea.

It's not a waiata it's a himene/hymn... Church hymn, How great thou art... to put it simply...💯
A very nice well performed and well known hymn by the New Zealand Dawn Service. The woman sang with a beautiful voice. Thanks for sharing.
Glad to listen to the old Swedish spiritual song "O Store Gud" (How Great Thou Art), written by Carl Boberg in 1886 in Småland, Sweden - the same part of my country where Ingvar Kamprad started IKEA, another famous composition spread around the world...
I have saved this to my favourites and playlist and listen to it daily, can't get enough...!!

One of my Mums' favorites. She died in 1999 and I keep this to remember her by. I have lived in Norway since 1949. I have a lovely family, but still my heart longs for New Zealand.
