He`s back, personally speaking i have dabbled with your putting spread sheet for about 2 years, and i remember firing lots of questions concerning the "divisors" just couldn't get my head around it. Well about 4 months ago i went back 100% only using your sheet and the improvements is MASSIVE you mention your eye gets used to looking at potential other lines and this is right, I'm getting my aim point and from there i feel confident about moving the aim to a different line, I'm still trying to "ding" my putts which when i miss on the wrong side can hurt, but all in all Ross i love it bro and we have missed you

Another helpful vid! Thanks! I've never heard you talk about the cups section of your spreadsheet. How do you use it? I've heard some people talk about the cup being 4.25 inches, or that the ghost circle is that same 4.25 inches, but that does not seem to be the case. I've watched all your vids (that I could find) on putting but I've never heard you talk about why the grid sizes are not proportionate. The first half grid is 10 and the second half grid is 5. The rest are predictably evenly spaced at 7.5 each. Something you just discovered through trial and error? or does that come from JC Snead? I used to figure all the grids were 12" squares, since that appeared to coincide with the putt distance counting 1 foot per grid, but that didn't work too well for me. I know your calculations works for you, but I can't help but wonder why the difference in that first grid. Enquiring minds.... you know. :-) btw - Congratulations on that beautiful Wolf Creek 49!! I really enjoyed seeing you taming it!! and thank you for ALL your videos! They are well done and a great help! Cheers~ duggles1942

Hey champ! I do appreciate the kind words and hope any help I can offer will make your rounds more enjoyable and successful. I’ll put together a “cups” video this weekend to illustrate the visual behind it. The method behind the 10/15/22.5 came from JC Sneed and I modified it to suit the Mobile version of the game. Back in flash, it used to be different: 10/15/20/25 as in first half grid, full grid, 1.5 grid, 2 grids. The grids now are not the same so I had to figure out how to transition the flash numbers to mobile and that took me the better part of my TL days. Look forward to chatting with you more my man 💪🏻

Hey brother. I use the stopwatch that is on my iPhone. Nothing too crazy about it, whenever I move the aim box and let go I start the stopwatch. Once the dots get to the end of the grid I stop it and execute 👍🏻

Hi Babz, wassup buddy? What is the % to cup conversion chart used for besides the obvious. I've always used 6 cups per grid and that chart says otherwise. Am I missing something because when using that chart I'm not even close. I've just starting using your spreadsheet and I'm still getting confused easily. {OCD) LOL

I use them in conjunction to the JC Sneed value that is above them. So say the Sneed aim is 16.3, that would mean my % that I’m looking for is just above 100% since 15 would equal a full grid (aka 100%)

Love this, but, I put in the exact same figures and gave no adjusted distance except 1 that was already there. There does't appear to be a calculation for it. downhill says 9.56 and divisors are all less than 100% ranging from 19 - 71% so am utterly confused any advice most welcome, TYVM

I've not been able to use the spreadsheet because Excel tries to charge me every time I click on it. I've accomplished a lot playing/putting by feel, but it'd be nice to use the spreadsheet for tricky situations. Any ideas?

Hello Babzilla: I am using a jimmispencer put program that is based on yours and it works nice but i have one question that is killing me. I dont know if you know the program, but have a square that say "Speed times" is for move the blue flag to aim the put. You put dot seconds what i know and then you have to put "speed times" i dont know what is this can you help me? By the moment what i do is..... for example a 12 tourney green i do 10/1,2 and got 8,33 then i put this value and seems to work but i dont know what its mean

Hey Anthony. The shot pal is designed as power %s in increments of the distance scale selected. So the lines go as follows: 10-20-25-30-40-50-60-70-75-80-90-100. Finding the values in between these numbers will take a little trial and error 👍🏻

Correct, the calculator is designed to work in conjunction with the green speeds. Every time you change the green speed, the power %s will reflect that. Link is in the description 👍🏻

@@Babzilla33 I was 36 yards out using my 64 degree wedge. Which goes 60 yards. Wind was low so really had no effect. Elevation was up like 2ft so nothing drastic. My math was to add a yard to the 36 making it 37 yards. I did put a lil backspin on it. And took 37 divided by 60 yards turn out to be 61.6 power on that club. I did 62 or 63 power and ended up 25ft short. Dunno what I did wrong there. So after my tournament I went to a practice round and put myself in the same position and turned out I needed to add almost 70 power to that shot to get the heartbeat. Do u know why that is??

Not sure I understand the dot speed. You are moving the flag three quick times. Why? Cant you just count the dot speed? I am on mobile

I was attempting to illustrate (for video purposes) when I was starting the stopwatch. I don’t actually move the flag 3 times but rather grab it once and let go, then start the stopwatch. The idea is to get the dots when they start on the grid rather than while they are already moving. Sometimes there’s a grid line in the ball path, so I have to hold the flag and use a stopwatch.

From a combination of green speed, distance, downhill aim, and dot speed. Each time you change the green speed, the calculator will automatically adjust the amount of aim to reflect a slower or faster green.

You’ll have to have Microsoft excel. Then you can open the file and use it while you play!

From a combination of green speed, distance, downhill aim, and dot speed. Each time you change the green speed, the calculator will automatically adjust the amount of aim to reflect a slower or faster green.
Any way to get this in Google sheets?
