I remember when Ronald would be live and in person at McDonald's! My dad would take me, including to buy kid's shoes... Hot Wheels, in a 70s car, Pinto or Mustang, lots of happy memories this triggers on this, Happy Father's day! Thank you OV!

@@StudioZ7 well the one I remember was birthday party I believe but he was there they have like toys and or gifts or balloons that kind of thing very vague memory but I don’t remember the tail end because it must’ve been somewhere in the middle 70s when I was a kid. I do, however, remember now this coming to me! That although physically, he look like Ronald McDonald body wise something was off about his face or something, and I was sometimes disappointed it wasn’t the real Ronald!

1:15 - Mason Adams does the voiceover for Kraft Fudgies. 5:43 - Paul Frees as Little Hans in the Nestle Triple Decker commercial. 11:41 - The Fortunes perform that Coke jingle.

They had those macho NFL players endorsing and eating the stuff to try to dispel the baby food appearance. Apparently it didn't work.

That Lestoil commercial definitely felt like being one of the earliest misandry commercials.

Obsolete Video, Any chance you can dig up the American Motors Gremlin commercial where this family travels to rural Mexico to a gas station and small town that only has AMC Gremlins?

Hi Obsolete Video, do you have any of the 1970s animated Jack In The Box commercials with Jack [when he had green hair] and his animated cast of friends [Secret Sauce Agent, Hamburgermeister, Small Fry, Onion Ring Thing, The Shakes, etc...]? I've been searching for these ads as I've been trying to research Jack In The Box's history.

Ho-Ho's were created by Hostess to compete directly with Drake's Yodels which were very popular in the 60's.

Noise removal? The least you would expect is to correct the horizontal scan glitches, but there's a ton of them here. I don't expect miracles, but whoever called this noise removal sold you a dud.

What are drop-outs but a form on noise, if what you mean is undesirable and distracting interference? Mind you, not an easy problem to solve, and the fix may be as distracting as the problem. But I'm not sure any form of "noise reduction" will be an improvement. This particular video has plenty of it, but that's what you get with old tape, God bless.
