i dont think she is coming back for good, maybe as a memory. Writers want to prove that nobody has a plot armor. And they did farewell to her character. They want you to be hurt, but that was Dolores CHOICE. She could easily save herself but didnt want to

The scene with Caleb and Maeve on the brige, looking at the destruction, reminded me of the end of "Fight Club".

Dolores literally made copies of herself, so no other host would perish. She never gave up on Maeve and Maeve earned every free pass given to her.

Rafael In Vancouver I can’t see how she could have done anything except replicate herself. The only consciousness that knew they’d bought back was Arnold. Bringing any other character back would have been against their free will.which after all, is the whole moral to the seasons plot.

​@@tmmnago2722 They had clearly shown us that the original Dolores that had a history with William died in this episode, and so did the human version of William, if they want to bring Evan back, they could let her play the version of Dolores that Bernard recreates.

I am so happy that this show exists because after such a heartbreak from Game of Thrones Season 8, I needed something that pays off when you stick with it. Since Season One Episode 1, this show exceeded my expectations!!! I am so greatful for that...

There is so much from the End-Credits to take in. Especially since Man in Black is back. And then there is the question of what Bernard found in the end.

@@Threshk yep. William has the most engaging arc in the Westworld. Even though Dolores is the leading character but I couldn't relate to her. I honestly didn't feel bad for what happened to her in 3rd season finale but I'd definitely felt bad if it were Caleb, Bernard, Maeve. And it happened with William, the one who made choices is killed by his own look alike who has no free will (as of now) and yeah that hurts ..

Great finale, hope Evan Wood comes back next season. In my mind, there is no Westworld without her. The overall theme about free will and outliers, which Nolan and Thé talk about, is something they started on Person of Interest, with the whole Samaritan storyline. With some tweaks here and there Westwold could be a perfect sequel to POI. It is a shame, it never got a big following as WW. That show was truly ahead of its time.

The calm, clearly iterative, writing to delve so deeply with such grace was poetic. Nolan and Joy have done such an amazing job exploring some of the most cornerstone issues to sentience itself. Westworld feels like a documentary of qualia and intelligence told allegorically because that is kind of the only way to do qualia.

Wow, this episode blew my mind, after couple lil dissapointments this was just amazing, so much happend, just wow, Dolores was always my favorite and i really felt something about what happend with her....again, wow.

i’m begging you to make dolores and evan come back 🙏🏻

Thank you Mr Nolan and Ms Joy to give us a closure to Dolores storyline! I really love you guys! That 3rd showdown with Maeve and her was out of this world! What a plot twist!! Hardly can wait for 2022!! All the love for you guys from a Brazillian Super Fan!!🥰 You guys saved my quarantine lockdown!

First of all thank you HBO for surprising us this summer season 3 Westworld is just intense incredible! at the end of the final episode i was speechless. all the cast nothing to say perfect and a nod to Evan Rachel Wood made that she returns in season 4 of Westworld she the most intense character in this series. thanks to all HBO the Show Runner Nolan and Joy. 😄✌

Well we can't prove there is choices at all, everything can be determined and free will could be an illusion! We know our consciounes is produced by our brain processes and those work interaction with material external causal reality, also unconscious brain background processes happen so fast we can't see them conscious level or decide how neurons and chemicals take some pattern for purely causal reasons and form thoughts, decisions, memories, etc. Basicly consciouness is too slow and can't see infinite number of determistic causal interactions happening every single micro second around us and molecular level our brains which lead some conscious action. This means we are just slaves dreaming for freedom but as long we live in that dream then there is not really matter are we free or not because we can still enjoy our lives and see some existential meaning it.

Excellent Finale. Predictable end, but still loved it. Had a feeling going into the episode that Dolores would be killed off, and Caleb and Maeve would team up for season 4. Still was blown away by that shootout scene in the dark though

I don't think Dolores is dead. Man, this season finale feels like season 1 finale. Chilling and great twists. Now I have to rewatch the season to see if I missed something. The wait for S4 will be painful. Chilling final scene with Pink Floyd as background music. The war is between humans, not between machines.

It's so cool that Lena Waithe is working on this amazing show.

Much like in the season 2 finale when they wanted to make us believe Maeve was dead, I'm 97% sure that Dolores is coming back next season. If not, then I hope Maeve get a reshape on her motivations if they want her to lead the show. Also, Halores is now bent on world domination, that's gonna be interesting. I'm curious to see Hale as a more prominent antagonist, I always enjoyed more love to her character more than anything else.

I didn't know there was a post-credit scene. Now that I've seen it, I don't feel so bad about the season finale.

This season was really so strong, interesting and intense, but fourth season won't be if Dolores isn't in it. Bring her back, then let the real show begin! We can't watch it without her, also it would be interesting to see her, Maeve and Caleb together with Bernard and Stubbs while they fight that annoying Halores and 'her new army' 😎

Very thought-provoking series, I totally love it. The only thing I disagree is Lisa's statement that humans can't change their programming. Everything created by humans is made in his likeness. The same proposal of the labyrinth, is the path to follow if you want to recognize who you really are, only then can you make use of free will.

@@amitkenan3878 Yes. So, we have four other Dolores (Halores, Connelores, Musashilores, Dolawrence) who have the same experiences than her in season 1 and 2, but now they take an other way and aren't exactly Dolores, and we can see that with Hale.

Perhaps they should do Season 4 on HBO Max since it’s about to come out later on this month.

I liked this season but I prefer season 2 and season 1,this season have some really good moments but if felt that wating for more.The Bernard moments especially the post credit scene was pretty good

this season is season 8 of GoT for me!it looks like the show, but its rumbled together strangely!this season felt like they took their own personal favs of sci fi and wrote it as a Westworld season!I cried a couple of times in season 2!damn they wrote very human stories but acted by Hosts!

They gave in to the people that cried about the show being to hard to understand and just made it purely all action with weak story compared to past seasons.
