I brought Hero Pro 7 to the abbey and put it around my neck but decided to turn if off bc I didn't want to get caught and kicked out :/

Your camera was moving too fast. I was hoping to see the tombs of the kings and queens and who was entombed in it.

Can't get caught with that camera, it's not allowed. So see what you can see and be grateful.some others down the line have taken the videos and went a little slow er.Look them up on youtube also. Remember each person is taking a chance using that camera at Westminster Abby so we who wants to see with our own eyes and can't get there can see some at least.

I didn't see any signs that said video recordings weren't allowed but, then again I didn't see the sign at Kensington Palace and I was told by the workers that video recording wasn't allowed so I then stopped video recording. I was walking around with the camera recording and nobody said anything. I guess I just got lucky or I would not have video recorded if I knew.

@@stephenjohnson5589 Thank you for recording, what you did I haven't seen some of the shots before. Queen Elizabeth l is one of my favorites, I have been watching these videos for a while now.. Sometimes someone comes up to the one recording at Westminster Abby and say" There's is no recording in Westminster Abby"" And one time I saw a Sign on one recording saying " No Recording Allowed" I am glad no one bothered you, there were couple of areas I haven't ever seem before Thank you!!

Adults are £27, adults 65+ are £24, children ages 6-17 are £12, under 6 are free. I spent about 3 hours but I take my time.

Can anyone tell me if the sarcophagus was built on the spot or were they carried inside? Must have been back-breaking work moving all that marble and stone.

I don't usually don't do commentary on my videos. I like to just shut up and let the experience wash over you, like how I feel when I am there.

This is not correct, since the 17th century the Royal Monarchs have only been buried in St. George's Chapel.

That sounds about right. These are the ones entombed from before.
I hate to sound ungrateful and please don't get mad.....BUT....it would have been 1000 times better with proper lighting ( it was too dark ) and slower with the he camera to see and read so go back and do a redo ok 🤭

I'm not mad. I actually think your comment is funny. Since I live on the west coast of the USA it's unlikely I will be back anytime in the next few years. As for how dark it is, well it is an abbey and they are dark. I used a GoPro and they don't have professional lighting on them.
