I agree with another commenter; too much of the ladies talking, and not enough of what they were talking about. I kept wanting them to stop and show the items closely, with descriptions. There's the family portrait of Queen Victoria that would be amazing to see. I'll never get there, but it would be a dream.

Impressive! A true restoration. The interviewer and interviewee were both very good. Only complaint: the camera person did not film some of the things that were discussed, such as the curtain rods/poles from the Brighton Pavilion. It's not hard to follow what is being said and SHOW it.
It is great that they are finally taking the time to upgrade the infrastructure of the building. Upgrading the wiring and plumbing in a place full of so many irreplaceable objects needs to happen every so often. It would be such a loss if anything happened. We all ready saw that happen at Windsor once. I may be on the other side of the pond but I have been fascinated with Windsor Castle since I was 5. I have yet to get there to see the place but I stood in my living room watching the news of that fire and just cried.

I agree. Did you know the Palace kitchen was a health hazard to work in, during Victoria and Albert's early years ? A large London sewer ran directly underneath ! Leaking smell and moisture on the kitchen floor.... 🍳🥓🫘 😵 😵💫 🍓🍮🍪

It's just beautiful. I think they all prefer to live at Clarence House. I believe that Queen Elizabeth II and Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother fought overshoe would live in Clarence House until Churchill ordered Elizabeth II to move into Buckingham palace, as was expected of the Monarch. She and Prince Philip wanted to stay at Clarence House. I don't think the King will officially move back in. He will have apartments there.
Really enjoyed seeing this - just beautiful

Down with the Monarchy
I used to think it was very cool to live in a huge palace or place. However after a short stay in a friend's large house, I felt a kind of emptiness in such huge space, with many empty rooms and showroom-worthy decorations that serve minimum purpose. I realised it is the liveliness that matters. I wouldn't want a house which is dark and unoccupied in most parts of it.
This is the on show arias. I hear some of the behind the seens corridors are just a dump holes. They are the real bits we want to see.
I’ve managed to track down cheap fake versions of the Chinese ceramics…it started with a cup and saucer that’s over 100 years old of my grandmothers………..but I do love the brass fire dogs in the fireplace…and all the colour combinations….it’s absolutely gorgeous…reminds me of the Queen and Paddington.
The women could have talked while showing the items of the rooms. That’s what people are interested in. A missed opportunity!
Why can we comment on this ! And everything that is spoken about Australians have not been able to type any comments about any News that is being presented ???????
All very fascinating
But some gilded age mansions English country houses (chatsworth house, harewood house, highclere castle snd others )rooms and galleries interior details are more beautiful than these

I’ve lived in the north of England for 66 years, from birth. I find it a bit off, that I should have to pay to visit the palace, after I’ve been paying for its upkeep all my working life. How many royal residences do these people need ? Windsor castle Buckingham Palace Sandringham Balmoral High grove St James Palace Clarence House Royal Lodge Frogmore cottage Kensington palace Adelaide cottage Bagshot park Gatcombe park There are more, but it’s making me sick, typing these names out. All paid for by the people, who then have to pay if they are allowed a visit. What a f.king joke.😮😮😮
