This is how I make a western style belt. There are not a lot of videos talking about how to build one of these. I bought a pattern last year and have changed it to fit my needs. This is a brief video showing the measurements.

I thank you for making this video , because I have been looking for a drop-loop holster video for quite some time!!!! although prefer the lace bullet loops. I am making a drop-loop rig for my .44 mag and I would like to see how yours turns out!
Great video, but could you go over how you measure where to put the drop-down for the holster
Two questions: 1) Where did you purchase the original pattern from? and 2) Did you ever do the second video? I've watched this one a few times but need the second one for the holster.

what would cost you buy leather cut to sizes 48inch angled hips plus4to 6 inches buckel holes no stiching no dye
I'll be making one of these soon and I'm not sure how long to cut the main strap for someone with a belt size of 34". HELP!

Correction...how long do I cut the main strap (4" part) for someone with a belt size of 38" ?
Are you going to make a follow up video to finish the belt ?
