"Western Front Ace" - Fourth and Fifth Patrol
Ойындар
A video playthrough of the fourth and fifth patrol of the solitaire World War One board game "Western Front Ace" published by Compass Games and designed by Gregory Smith and Ian Cooper. The game allows the player to fly as a scout (fighter) pilot in World War One. The goal is to score as many victories as possible and simply survive.
Our pilot, Josef Bongartz, flies his fourth (Line Patrol) and fifth (Offensive Patrol) sorties. He gains a crucial skill and learns that French Spad's are tough aircraft to bring down.

It's from Red Baron, and I realize it's mostly CGI, but I love it too.
Very well done.
Don't forget to check for engine fire (on the Spad) when it is hit. Easy to forget. (11:12)

Good catch! Yes, forgot to check (even though chances are fairly low).
Nice series. Looking forward to the next patrol videos. Thanks for the great work.
Another excellent video. Thanks for your work
Great video. We want to know what's next!
Really enjoy these. Thanks.
Another nice AAR, although as a Brit I wish you were running an RFC campaign. Not to worry, you did my country proud with your "Skies Above Britain" playthrough.

Don't worry! I'm not yet done with Skies Above Britain. I'm a big "fan" of the Battle of Britain and plan to play a whole campaign. Love the game!
Doesn't the gun jam after firing?

Per the rules: [7.1.7] Ammunition Use and Clearing Jammed Weapons - "If a card is drawn and indicates a weapon has jammed, it does not expend ammo, as it does not fire." (page 15, rulebook)

@@pdex2165 I asked that question to G Smith, that was his response, the gun jams immediately, doesn't expend ammo or fire.
Your videos are great but this game seems to easy or the Germans way over powered which they probably were
