Westcott Designs Rock Sliders installed on my 2021 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

I’m this video I provide a fairly quick synopsis of my new Westcott Designs Rock Sliders for the 2021 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro. Excellent quality, great packaging and beautiful design. I’ve only purchased from Westcott Designs a couple of times now but each time has been a wonderful experience. If you’re looking for sliders, lift kits, roof racks, ladders, you name it… give them a look. They’ve offered me great customer service. I’d like to think you all will experience the same. Not to mention… they’re an American company… building their products here in the USA.
I think these Westcott sliders will be the last upgrade I do to the ole lunar rock Tundra TRD Pro here. =]
What are your thoughts on the sliders? For those of you who have purchased a product from them before, what’d you get and what’s been your experience?
Thanks for watching as always!
-Stay Untamed…

    If i were you, that 21 Lunar Rock TRD pro V8 Tundra would be my FOREVER truck. Keep making vids with it and have fun, maybe even supercharge it!. And when you are ready to test out the 2022 V6 Tundra, Sell off that Shelby Raptor for it. You can then make side by side vids comparing the 21 Tundra vs the 22 Tundra. Youll regret YET AGAIN getting rid of that 5.7 V8 Tundra beast

    Heat is your friend for removal of the pro rack. I heated each bolt head first and then would loosen a full turn and then tighten a half turn and then repeat the process. The back and forth along with the heat eventually breaks loose the red loctite...good luck!

    Very nice. Trd pro could use a Trd cold air intake, trd oil and radiator cap for engine bay possibly, along with KC Hilites led engine bay light kit. I usually mod up the engine bays and custom paint the engine covers on my Toyota's. Nice thing about Tundra it comes with hood struts as opposed to prop rod, models that do not, I add the struts.

    Beautiful top plate on those (best in the industry) but a little too much gap from the rocker panel to the slider for my taste. Kinda has the Demello look to them. It’s the reason I sold my Demello’s and went WNOR. They’re tucked up nice and tight! Great lines on the wescott though..

    Please never install a "bull bar" for any kind of impact protection. They will do more damage to a vehicle than what they prevent in the event of a collision and I've often heard of customers having issues with insurance companies bcuz of this fact.

    I really like the quality and craftsmanship of Westcott sliders. But man those gaps are huge… don’t understand why they don’t make them hug the body high and tight like others like hefty, shrockworks and C4.

  • @westcottdesigns

    @westcottdesigns

    2 жыл бұрын

    They are as tight as they can be without the bottom pinch weld from hitting the slider when articulating the truck. We did a bunch of testing and this was as close as we could get them without hitting.

    Agreed. C4 and WNOR make a them nice and tight. White Knuckles also go from wheel well to to wheel well which is nice and gives you that little extra protection of the bed whereas these only get you to the end of the cab
