West Wight Loop - Sea Kayaking - DJI drone - Cliffs - Portage - UK Coast - Insta360 -
Спорт
This is a new take on the previous West Wight Loop where we had a drone follow much of the route thanks to Dan from @cassersworld
Overall, 27Km, 4 hours paddling and 20ish minutes walking to cover this route.
Filmed with the Insta360 X2 from the kayaks and DJI mini 3 Pro from the air

Excellent, thanks for the comments. Really glad you liked it. Feel free to browse the other videos and watch out for the new ones coming. Cheers Darren
I currently paddle on the east coast of Aus but my early years were spent paddling and sailing on the Solent. Thanks for creating the video, brought back many memories of Lymington, Hurst Castle, Yarmouth, Newtown creeK and Alum Bay.

Thanks for the comments Steve. I started paddling on a waveski in NZ around Wellington so I know exactly what tou mean when I see NZ in a decent paddle video. Enjoy the sunshine for me..
Awesome Darren and team, soon not only a drone, but a your own filming crew! 😁

Thanks mate.. Yep, I've never had the nerve to fly my drone while paddling so a a bold pilot on the case made a massive difference
That's such a beautiful coast to tour! Would love to paddle there.

Thanks Chris. We do have a good variety here. I see you have lakes and mountains, we are short of those though. Look us up if you're visiting the UK.
A view of the coast one would normally see. Great to watch.Steve...❤😅

Excellent. Thanks
Great show guys. I'm slowly upgrading my equipment, so If you could do a video showing your kayaks, paddles etc that would be appreciated. I need more knowledge and suggestions about this business.

Thanks Pawel. I will aim to add more information on the kit we use. The choice of paddle is something very personal so there is no right solution. It will depend on where you paddle (rock gardens / open water / surf) and the conditions (calm / windy and waves) and the type of boat (fast sea kayak / traditional / short tourer). Carbon is always nice though for rigidity and weight. A metal shaft will always keep your hands cold in the winter too. Ultimately though. You have to feel comfortable with it and it has to be affordable.
That poor boat. Has chris got his rolls sorted now then as hes not paddled the Octane for a while. Liked the aerial view over the river.

He still loves his Octane but took the chance for a warm cockpit while the weather was chilly. He'll be back in Orange any moment soon like the Hamble footage I need to edit
Love the channel mate, how are you guys finding the valkyries?

Brilliant. Thanks for the comment😎! We are loving the Valkyries. They are really well suited to the conditions around the South. Fast and capable for downwind surf and open crossings. I did feel the Delphin would have been a better option when I went to Anglesey with steeper waves and lots of rock gardens to threaten the rudder. Valkyries are great though.. 🤙

@@zac_ford88 Brilliant! I'm sure you'll have a lot of laughs in a shiny Valkyrie. Lizard 🦎 green looks the best I reckon. It wasn't an option when I got mine.. doh
