Incredible commentary, look how they keep up! No boring move progressions, just focused on the action, and an open door for really anyone to watch. Simple and exciting.

Yes, it is...to an extent. But at the same time, nordibek never had any real advantage the entire game it seemed. He wasn't crushed, but he certainly was summarily defeated.

@@J42337 Hardly "summarily defeated". smh Nordibeck actually declined repetition of moves, thus chose to play for the win! 5:51 Was he too optimistic, yes! But, some people play for the audience (and we love it!).

Wesley So gameplay can be broken down in 2 ways 1. Absolute destruction (Either Himself or His opponent) 2. or a Draw (Staying on top is the no.1 priority, NEVER lose!)

For a while, I thought So is gonna lose. He didn't have queenside play in an opposite-castling position and had to meet Black's forces on HIS side of the board. Props to the 2-time US champ. 💪💪

Audiences are smarter than you give them credit for. People will learn what castling kingside means after they hear it once. You don’t need to say moving the king right. Also, google is a thing.
