Mine are off the shelf Wesco boss 11 and look as new as your because I have only worn them three times and for a short time, they are built like a tank, hard sole. Have you broken them in ? what method other than wearing them did you do.

It is normal for new boots to feel hard at first, but they will soften after a few months of wearing.
