Rugged Wesco Boots Restoration - NEW Look for these Boots
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
This pair of Wesco boots was mailed to us for a complete resole. When this gentleman sent us his boots, he included a letter letting us know that we could have some fun with them. He said he has worn these Wesco boots for years, and they have taken him everywhere. We wanted to keep a rugged, long lasting sole on there for this makeover, but we used some creativity and changed things up a bit. Hope you all enjoy! Time for another shoe or boot restoration.

the 'stache makes you look like an extra on the set of Tombstone...but you need the hat to go with. Enjoy the videos and learning about shoe brands I never saw before. Good Job, guys!
Love the stashe! Has a Doc Holiday vibe:)
I like the 'stache. Kind of a "Rhett Butler" vibe to it.
Heath- I don’t usually like mustaches, but you pull it off better than most.

Thank you sir!
I just found your channel. I have been a bootblack for 15 years at my local leather bar and Wesco’s hands down are my favorite boot. I also worked as a tailor in a leather shop for 5 years, so tend to do a bit of surface repair to the boots I work on, GENTLY with a nail file or scotch bright. Ive also worked at several gay rodeos and have shined a ton on cowboy boots, so I specialize in colors, as well as ostrich, alligator…etc. I love seeing this more in-depth break down of construction. Thank you!❤

Unbuckling those kind of boots you wouldn’t believe the size dust bunnies Ive found under there!
Oh man, I love the red stitching on these! Once again, another incredible job! We do appreciate you going the extra mile working on a boot that’s maybe a bit outside your comfort zone to give us a video. So thank you! PS, I dig the ‘stache. 😉👍🏻

Thanks so much! We appreciate you watching.
The “I see what you did there” intro was brilliant. 😊
Love the stash with the 5oclock shadow look
Being that I have sported a mustache ever since I could grow one, I heartily approve. Nice work on the boots, also!
Beautiful job guys. I had a pair I wore for close to 50 years. Being diabetic I had to give ‘‘em up. My son inherited them and still wearing them!!
Well done, gentlemen! 👏🏽👍🏽👊🏽
You guys do such good work. I have seen other 'cobblers' do videos where the stitching is uneven and loose and the job hurried. You guys take your time and do it right, everything looks great. If I ever have a pair of shoes or boots that need resoling I will definitely send them to your shop assured that the repairs will be excellent. The stache is looking good. Keep it.
I gotta tell y’all, I learned the saddle soap sudsy spritzy-spritzy method from y’all and have never looked back. It’s tiny, but life changing as it’s cleaned every leather in my house with aplomb!

What brand saddle soap do you guys use?
The work on the boots was beautiful, great job guys as usual! Love the 'stache Heath! You really have the vintage look working for you!
This was my first style of WESCO boots. Bought 25 years ago. Had WESCO resole them once they still are my favorite boots. Also the boots Arnold wore in Terminator.😉

Can I ask if yours are lined?

Yes they are lined. I did Wesco’s custom fit option when I originally ordered them. First time I pulled them they fit amazingly. Never had boots that felt so comfortable right from the beginning.

Terminator 2 he wore a set of Chippewa engineer boots. All I know is I’ve wanted a set of Wescos for ages! Bad ass boots.
Contrast of the leathers looked awesome. Great job.
I like the red stitching. It's different 😊

Awesome job like the color choices. The Stash is Killer
It looks like they are very well made boots. I like the mustache.
Really enjoyed this video! Interesting to see how you approach an engineer style boot. And Heath always looks great rocking the stache!

An object of desire having a pair of these boots. Great work!
Wesco boots are something else! I picture these boots chuckling and saying, "Stop, it tickles!" While you're smacking the snot out of them with those hammers. 😂
I love the Stache. Definitely keep it.
Digging the Dirty Sanchez stash
My fave boot restoration so far!
your new stache is funny because they way you turned your head to the camera. the way you look its like that funny goofy uncle in every weekend bbq haha
I have a pair of Wesco 7500 engineers and one detail I really like is the heel stack has two colors of leather, making a subtle stripe of red in the profile. You guys should try that out in the future!
Awesome boot upgrade!
Wow! That red stitching really pops.. It seems like such a small detail, but it really adds a lot to the style. Excellent work as usual.
Appreciate the effort y'all put into this one. Beautiful result fellas!
Perfetti come sempre,ottimo restauro
I see tons of people responding about the stache……it’s definitely a keeper. Most of us old guys wish we had your hair too! Been watching you guys since day one. Your workmanship is beyond amazing!

Very nice look to the boots. Keep the 'stache.
Awesome work. Was surprised when using the saddle soap that you didn't undo the harness strap and clean underneath.
The stash is class
As always, nice work and nice video. From what I saw, it looked like those boots had many more miles before a resole was needed. I actually own a pair of WESCO Jobmasters and when they get a resole, they will need a resole !!

You guys popped up in my feed last week, never watched anything like this before, now I'm hooked. Amazing work you fellas do. Cheers from Townsville, Queensland, Australia. Cattle country.

Great Video Thank You For Sharing
Real good quality 👌 work
I love your videos!! Our world has become so tolerant of low quality, disposable wares. To see your craftsmanship and skill gives me hope that all is not lost for artesian crafts. Kudos for keeping the craft❤
This reminded me that I have a pair of black Wesco Jobmasters set aside to work on. Maybe I'll pull em out and clean/condition/polish while watching. Thanks for the video.
Man I’d love to be a cobbler. Something in the nature of the job appeals to me. Always has. I love the smell of a good Cobbler shop. Plus you get to see happy customers when you’re done (for the most part). Dream job to me👃I think it’s becoming more popular due to the fact that a lot of people are starting to understand the advantages of buying quality boots or shoes and would rather get em resoled than buy a new pair. Keep up the good work. Great vid 👍Stash is good by the way. Get the ends waxed once it’s grown out😎
I love these videos but I can't keep your names straight! I watch them in 2x speed and do so ad nauseum 😅 at that speed, the moustache fellow rocks back and forth at the end of the videos so much it reminds me of an anxious kid! Thanks for that chuckle
That boots were beautiful. Now are fantastic! Great great job guys!

good to see the water-saving measures y'all adopted. +1 -- keep that 'stache.
Wesco did a great collab with chrome hearts. CH did sterling silver hardware and they looked great. Very overpriced but great. I’d like some regular wesco boots but even they are very hard to find in UK. Love American boots like these - super tough and built to last decades and beyond with care. Great vid and resto guys! The red stitching was a cool detail!
This work was a piece of art. Congratulations :) Nice ’stash, cool for those rough type shoe videos :)

Wow, these may be the first boots I've seen that rival Nick's in quality. It's nice to see a brand that still just makes the right with no skimping.

There are several other PNW boot makers that are in the same league as Nick's and WESCO. I have Frank's T1s best boots I have owned.
I would love to learn to do this as a hobby / side gig. There is just something about working with your hands and bringing something back to life that intrigues me.
Beautiful work as usual. You have to have talent and heart to work. Greetings from Poland from the city of Radomsko 🙂💪👋
Beautiful work. Wesco is one of the few brands where the original quality is up to the standards of the restoration these guys do. This work is very befitting of the Wesco uppers.

Tash is very fetching Sir ❤
Hey fellas! Good seeing y'all again. As usual, L9ved your video. Heath I think the mustach looks better and ya both look more similar now
fantastic
Incredible craftsmanship again guys. Just wow they look great. Heath the stash looks good too bring on Movember. You should be co starring in a British film from the 70s or 80s with John Clees. Blessings

For those that don’t know Wesco, they are on par with the likes of Whites, JK, and Nicks. They make awesome lineman boots as well as smokejumper/fire boots. High quality, custom fit, hand made, not cheap but great value. I owned a pair for over 10 years of lineman work and they still had lots of life. Handed them down to my brother who wore them another 10.
That was a really good job on those boots. I used to wear that type of boot for years, except they were taller in the upper 17". Y'all do great custom work. Thanks for this video. MARANATHA 🔜💥 ☝️
The stash is back! Kind of looks a little like Geppetto...
The stache really ties together the hair style.
Perfect craftsmanship. I see how much strength and skill it takes. The mustache is retro cool, and looks good. You are both handsome guys! I’m curious to know what a job like this costs for a client?

Mustache looks good on some men, you included. But, I'm not a facial hair guy. Too much trouble taking care of it and I prefer a clean shaven look. I'm 70yrs old with white hair and olive skin (Hawaiian) and told I look about 55-60. I've enjoyed your videos since they first came out. Keep it up !!
Watching Forrest pop up from behind was kind of like being photo bombed only in a video . Video bombing ? Cool boots to begin with but even cooler now.
Wesco also has a factory rebuild program for their boots.
Need the Handle Bars on the 'stache.
How long did this project take? Thank you for the great video, I always enjoy watching them
You need handle bars. And those boots look amazing.
i watch all your videos. that tool you use to rip off the sole, the the pliers /cutting ends. I have one in my tool box and never knew what it was for.? I use it for pulling nails out of things. But now I know its a Cobbler's tool.
Looks like the boots for T2 judgement day. 😂
Thanks for sharing. Has me wanting a pair of Wesco boots, given their sound construction. Question - What is the purpose of soaking the sole leather with glue thinner? Silly me thought that liquid was water for the purpose of making the leather more pliable when removed.
Come on: we know you love stitched down boots 😃
