You were there also when he was crucified because the whole world was. We're all the ones who nailed him to the cross with our sins and yet he is still merciful to all of us and pours out his grace. So the correct answer is to say you were there

We crucified our Lord on that cross, beat him up, mocked him with a crown off thorns and nailed him on a cross. And there our sins were laid upon him and he who had no sin became sin so that we could be called the righteousness of god in him. There is nothing more painfull and loving then the life and crucifixion of Jesus our Lord and saviour so thank him because by his mercy you are reading this. Thank you for redeeming us Lord.

Just saw a beautiful stations of the cross performance… this song was split up at each station and it was so beautiful. I get chills listening to it. It’s so saddening that Jesus went through all that.

@@joeseczulaica3053 It does not matter. No unbeliever will have his sins mentioned at the judgement. Their sins had the penalty paid for. They will be condemned for rejecting Jesus Christ, not their sins. That leaves them to be without excuse.

@@joeseczulaica3053 Their sins will not be mentioned. They will be judged according to their works only. (Revelation 20:12) Why? One work will be looked for an not found! 28 Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?” 29 Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.” (John 6:28-29) That one work will not be found. Their sins will not be mentioned. They refused to 'believe.'

@@genez429 I understand a little bit the way you put it I guess what I'm saying is if your name is not found in the book of life you'll be cast into the lake of fire That means you rejected what Jesus did for the sins of the world Yes I understand I understand what Jesus says all you have to do is believe in him but the devil believes who Jesus is also but he trembles with fear because his time is for a short time down here on Earth Anyway thank you for your comment have a good day

You all are amazing! My family was on yt the other night looking for a Lenten song to go along with our devotion. We were looking for a version of this song that we liked. I played Johnny Cash's version, and my kids were like, nah, & then another we didn't like so much (too slow!), and then this one popped up in the suggestions..I played it, & it turned out to be JUST RIGHT. It's beautiful, the perfect tempo and mix of gospel and contemporary style. 💓💕🎵🎼 Love, love, love!!

Leave out the drums and guitars, then you have a much better song. Slurring of the words and notes, although common in today's Christian music, seems more like a secular music performance than something honoring to Jesus Christ. Beautiful voice, but negatively affected by other qualities.
