@@nicaclmnt On Christmas day 2019 Wendy was preparing for a special stage with Solar, Eunha, and Seunghee (Oh My Girl) when she was instructed to walk down a dark tunnel lit by a flashlight from a staff member, leading her through the tunnel to exit down stairs to go down to the stage to perform. Only thing is the stairs malfunctioned and didnt lift as they were supposed to, so Wendy fell down to emptiness from a reported 8 to 11 feet, fracturing her pelvis, fracturing her right cheekbone, and fracturing her right wrist among other injuries. She was hospitalized for like 4 months and had to eat through a straw for weeks, use a walker to learn how to walk again, had her jaws wired shut for weeks, and had to have months of physical therapy and reconstructive surgery to her face to fix the broken cheekbone. SBS lied initially about what happened, claiming they found Wendy right away and rushed her to the hospital. Months after the accident Solar of Mamamoo came out and admitted that they couldn't find Wendy and that she laid down there for who knows how long after the fall. She collapsed when they found her and she attempted to stand up and was then rushed to the hospital, holding onto her mic still and not wanting to let it go. Solar said it wasn't right what SBS did to her and had to tell the story. All she wanted to do was sing and this happened to her. From the pictures of the stage, she was up closer to 12 feet when she fell and not the reported 8 feet. She could have died. She was off a whole year and finally came back on New Year's Day 2021 officially dancing and performing as if she didn't break her hip and suffer severe injuries. She is such a strong young lady. One of the producers of Psycho Drew Scott said Wendy was always singing even when her mouth was wired shut and supporting her members throughout it all while still in the hospital and recovering. She is now back and slaying the vocals still!

The facts that even Wendy herself record her singing to WTRS for many hours more than other songs in the album because of how hard to sing it is and now she just did the live singing of WTRS flawlessly.... Let give her the loves as much as we can guys~ 💙

@@luluih95 she is is unstable maybe because she is tired of promoting her songs and she sang it live unlike other soloists who has a break between lines because they have a backtrack. She is very talented. Hope she can rest and as well as her voice.

And i DEFINITELY know how experimental rv's discographies are, they have a big range when it's come to this and nearly if not all of them are really good, what i'm trying to say is it doesn't need the same formula to make a good song after a good song❤️

The irony of this all. When This Rain Stops is a song about Wendy's hiatus and journey through recovery after an accident caused by ehem this channel's company~ She literally missed out on a year of promotions, probably the best promo SM has ever done in a while for their gg, and she couldnt do what she loves the most singing and performing on stage. Im glad Wendy persevered and she is now back better than ever with an amazing solo album. Wendy's Rain Stops~ Im looking forward to your next solo album Wendy!

i honestly think the LEAST sbs could do is give wendy proper performances on their music shows. they are lucky she trusts them enough to even appear on their show, but yet again, we all know how kind-hearted wendy is - i don’t think she wants to hold all that anger and blame on them when everyone has already done that for her by standing up for her. there is nothing sbs can do to make up for the lost time and pain wendy had to endure, but wendy is showing us that she has comeback stronger than ever. although there were troubling times for her, wendy was also able to focus on herself as well. it’s so incredible to see her doing well and i am so amazed to see her stand beautiful on the same stage (i.e. entertainment company) that caused her so much pain

I just realized that maybe this performance is somehow stating that she defied all her struggles that this company has put her through and standing on that stage, singing that song that depicts her dark era, signifies her triumph. It’s very poetic in a way. I guess, aside from triumph, it also symbolizes forgiveness. Forgiving what happened to her and moving forward to a more colorful path, leaving all the darkness and “rain” behind. It’s been a year since this stage happened but it had a lot of symbolic messages that I just realized today.
