She says "it's a fun little thing" and "how do I make $$$ on it now! lol". She recorded it in Cincinnati, OH and apparently Hot Drinks was recorded there too. Her name is Leslie and she is a very lovely woman.

When I was a kid, we were friends with Dave Thomas (Wendy’s founder). He was an awesome man… and I bet he approved this. From what I remember, he stepped away from having an active role in Wendy’s for a bit, but wasn’t happy with how things were going so he came back in the 90s. He took me to Wendy’s one day and I remember him talking about how the quality of the food is what matters to him. He really did care. He also told me that he wanted me to be in a Wendy’s kid’s commercial, but I think my mom vetoed that lol.

Yeah I was feeling discouraged since the iced tea had a different level of ice than the rest but she got me back on track.

I used to work in a food/drink outlet - It's a well known scam that if a customer asks for a large drink, you half fill the cup with ice, so effectually they are only getting a medium one.

Mold comes with the ice..... I never worked in a restaurant where I didn't see mold growing in the ice machine.... I wonder if the cooks still take out the trash there... That was the way it went when I worked at Wendys.... Or any restaurant, what moron has the food cook dealing with the filthy trash?

maybe about a year ago or so, i saw a kfc training video in my recommendations, so i watched it..it was how to fry the chicken..it was like 14 or so minutes long, and from the early or mid 80s...i dont know why, but i was amused and watched the whole damn thing *facepalm*

@The Flying Dutchman I understand the ice keeps it cold longer, but the soft drink fountains already chill the drink, so the ice just waters it down and dulls the taste in my opinion. Also, nice to meet a fellow Canadian. I too live in canada, in BC to be exact. I love Canada.
