Wenatchee Foodie Tour | Local Lens Seattle

Wenatchee has so much to offer and it’s only a few hours from Seattle!
We got to visit Pybus Market and try all kinds of food, shop and rent bikes… in an interesting way. Then it was off to the Aplets and Cotlets factory where we got a tour of the facility and taste tested our way through. It was a fun behind the scenes look into making these famous Pacific Northwest candies that have been around for 100 years!

I was born amd raised in Wenatchee amd been living in cashmere, where applets and cotlets are, for 8 months now and I have yet to do the tour 😂😂 but I can't stand this place. It's great of you're a tourist or born here but haven't been here in years, but when you're in this place every day all day for 30 years and have a young 7 year old and take the buses everywhere, you see the crappy part of this place and it's enough to make the whole area ugly. But I'm glad you guys enjoyed yourselves

fresh air, nice weather, beautiful natural scenery, room to stretch outdoors without people all up in your grill, less traffic, clean public waterfront land to enjoy, hunting, fishing, skiing, open land for dirt bike and quad riding just minutes away, cheaper gas, water, and power, beautiful wineries within quick driving distance, a clean river to float down with friends during summer, Yes wenatchee is a tourist destination for people from the seattle area and its not hard to see why. wenatchee is much more nature oriented and often appealing to people who enjoy that over stressful densely packed city life. And this coming from somebody who lived in the seattle area.
