I live in San Antonio and watched the game the Spurs Ball boy went and got the Ball from the kid in the stands and gave the ball to the Kinicks. Yet the Knicks still pushed to have Wemby fined. Wemby threw the ball into the crowd because he was celebrating the victory, It had nothing to do with Jalen Brunson. Speaking of disrespectful I guess they forgot about how the Knicks fans chanted Overrated at Wemby when he had his rookie debut at MSG.

The Local media here in San Antonio that covers the Spurs said the Spurs ball boy on the bench went and got ball from the fan in the stands and returned it to the knicks...And Spurs are classy enough I could see it happening. Unfortunately it's speculation at this point regardless as I could not find anything about it in print.

Also, it’s his gameball, not Brunson’s. Wemby also had a career-high in points and rebounds and got the W at home. It doesn’t matter how much Brunson scored, it was a loss. I doubt Brunson even wants that ball. Also, the Knicks had a Spurs staff retrieve the ball from the fan and even demanded the league to fine Wemby according to Windhorst. That was just petty and salty. 😅
