Very similar light to the full-size SIG Foxtrot EDC. Same SFT40 emitter and beam pattern (both smooth reflectors of similar size). Looks like Weltool drives the SFT40 harder though, giving you more total output. I imagine the Weltool is pulling close to 5 amps while the SIG is pulling closer to 3. I love that more companies are giving us "true" tactical lights with single-mode programming. This UI is very attractive.

TN12 PRO is more practical for different tasks as well as self-defence. The T2 TAC is definitely more for self-defence or distance. While it can access low mode, it has to go through high mode first which is not very practical for somewhere like the cinemas

The T14C is a remarkable light. The benefit of the T14C over the T2 TAC is you can buy the BB6 body and TC70 tail cap and use it with the T14C head (LH8 cool white) and make it a smaller and more compact light

  • @flashlightcrazy

Hey mate!! So, the reason I have upgraded my "PERFECT SELF-DEFENCE LIGHT" to the T2 TAC is because of the hidden low mode it has. As you will see in the self-defence video, having a low mode is vital for certain situations when you want to safely exit a premises unnoticed but need some light to do so. The T14C is a single mode light and the ultimate light to have on you if blinding light is ALL YOU NEED. But there are some situations when low light is still needed. Also, the T2 TAC is slim and more pocketable than the T14C. But it cannot be switched into a 18350 body like the T14C can. So my suggestion is to get both haha

    1) Holes cut into the bezel. If you drop the light into mud or a puddle of dirty water, there's going to be ingress without the ability to dry or clean off the light. Especially since the bezel doesn't come off. That ingress could also cause the light to fail. (There's a reason why literally no other flashlight brand in existence puts actual holes into their lights to help with heat dissipation. Not even the cheapest, No-name flashlight companies do that.) 2) Wrap around style clip. Not an issue most of the time, but the portion that wraps around on this light is very thin metal. Having used such clips in the past, they tend to snap off at the wrap-around section. Best clip set-up I've found is used by SureFire on their E-series of lights. Doesn't get more secure than that. 3) Hard as a rock rubberized forward-clicky switch. If you're an operator or police officer using momentary-on for an extended period of time, that means your thumb is going to get horribly fatigued. The light WILL turn off while you're using it. Not good. Most users will react by unintentionally over-compensating, and thus pressing harder; causing the light to now be in constant-on. Not good against an armed suspect who might start firing at your position. If you drop the light, you want it to go off. Not be in constant-on mode since the perp. will just keep firing at you, now easily seen thanks to your light on the ground continuing to give away your position. Yes, there should be some resistance when pressing against that tailcap switch. But too hard is not going to be a benefit. (Honestly, I stopped relying on my SureFire EDCL2-T because of its overly hard tailcap switch.)
