Yes Uppsala is the fourth largest but we are now over 200 000 inhabitants here. Is 1 mars your national day because of Saint david? Who was he? 6 june is sure a good day to have a national day at. It is of some divine intervention a date where big things have happened for Sweden, Gustav Vasa who united Sweden was crowned and there are some really important legislation that has been passed at this date as well. Don't remember what now.

Yes, 1 March is St David's Day. He died on this day and is a day of feast and celebration of our nation and history. We don't have it as a national holiday though, England won't allow us to have an extra day off 😔
