This is why I love music so much. I may not understand what the words being sung are but the beauty in it's purity makes touches the soul and moves a person.

Thank you for your reaction. My mother is Welsh. Calon Lan is one of my favorite Welsh songs. All the areas if Wales have now got Only Boys Aloud choirs, from what I can gather. My daughter and grandchildren still lives on the England/Wales border and my brothers still live in Wales.

Love their name "only boys aloud" and loved their voices. my 13 year old grandson and his buddies in choir were told to mouth the words when they reached certain parts in songs. we all had a good laugh; but also thought it rather sad. they should have watched this instead.

I think they came in second position. But they were definitely a thing for a hot minute. Great stuff when a Welsh language hymn brings an audience to their feet.
