John Meadows is an American professional bodybuilder and entrepreneur with an intriguing story. While John now boasts a successful career as an IFBB Pro bodybuilder and fitness company owner, his journey towards the top was extremely difficult.
Growing up, John never met his father, and his mother died at an extremely young age. This meant John only had his grandmother to take care of him. When his grandmother tragically passed away in 1999, John was left alone without his family to support him.
As the years went by, John continued to face new adversities in his life. During his early days in bodybuilding, John suffered from a rare colon disease. After fighting the disease for several months, his colon burst - almost resulting in his death. Luckily, John was quickly rushed to an emergency room where his life was saved. After several months of recovery, John was finally back on his feet.
Coming back into bodybuilding, John used the very obstacles that almost cost him his life as ‘fuel’ to grow stronger. Ever since he recovered from the colon surgery, John has gone on to become a successful bodybuilder, entrepreneur, and inspiration for many people all over the world.

What I especially like about working out in commercial gyms is when you are utilizing good form and weight on a back machine, someone will inevitably start to work out next to you when their are other open back machines, and proceed to load up the machine so that they are having to stand up to use their body weight to get the weight down and then lean back to get it to their chest and not control it coming up, just to show you how much stronger they are then anyone else In the gym. 💪

JONEZY Here’s a tip for ya... scrap all this pussy machine shit and get strong at weighted pull ups. It’s literally all I do for back (change up the variation every session; some sessions I’ll do wide grip pull ups others I’ll do close grip under hand etc etc...). Trust me once you get to having 100lbs between your legs your back will be absolutely insane looking (like mine).

Pretty darn similar to the workout I had today with my training partner, except we did barbell rows instead of trap bar deadlifts, and we did brac and bicep work on the cable and not pullovers. But otherwise same deal. Also webt relatively heavy and even did the same dropset with the wider grip to finish off upper back. Felt great! :)

I don't know much about volume. But I have been following your workout strategies to the T with a bit of periodization. This shit works. especially the all out sets. That took a bit of getting used to, cause i would be lying on the floor for sometime feeling all dizzy. 😁 .. Now, I ain't falling for any of those 40sets of legs crap anymore. That's half ass work of 40sets.
