I think Video Blogger describes Cecilia style better than film maker, the latter is more disciplined and less ad hoc, both totally different presentations and have their own separate values

I visited Longyearbyen , Pyramiden and surroundings early october last year, best trip of my life, I will definitely come back in summer and polar night season when possible. :)

Theres a kinda celebrity with a youtube following there her channel is Cecilia Blomdahl she has a ton of pretty cool vids from there

Would love to visit Svalbard but I'm so in love with the beauty of the landscape. It's beautiful and peaceful.

I really love when small beautiful places on earth become more recognized and people begin to visit more, but the problem with that is that it will eventually get saturated with tourists and not all tourists respect small beautiful places. Tourism is great if it does not get out of control. It happened in Iceland a few years back. If you’re going to visit these places, respect them and leave them the way you found them.

OMG that ice cave walk looks amazing!!!! I will look into Svalbard! Also I am VERY happy that there are no polar bear safari kill trips😊

Polarbears are still on the endangered list and illegal to kill. Even then you are supposed to try and scare the bear away or leave. If you kill, it has to be in self-defense and there will be an investigation.

Motorsports? Snowmobiles! ATVS! Sounds to scare away polar bear and such. Sign me up

According to Cecilia, you don't need to know Norwegian to get by on Svalbard English is sufficient.

When you say there are no polar bear safari does that mean there is no polar bear viewing tours? When I go on safari in Africa, I don’t shoot the animals with a gun, I use my camera and so I’m confused when someone uses the word “safari” to mean hunting trip. Anyway, did you use safari to mean hunting trip or did you use safari to imply there is no organized way to photograph polar bears?

Sorry but I found the sound quality very poor. Either the volume is too low, or the wind is blowing, or you are in a large empty room and there is an echo or you are speaking too fast and the words are being slurred together or speaking too low. I cut if off because I just couldn't hear you.
