Rub Well, you're half right. It's actually way better to even have just a 3.8 or so gpa, but be superb in a sport and extracurriculars. Thats something most forget about.

matt yea exactly. I'm graduating with a (predicted) 3.85 unweighted but I'm also do a lot of extracurricular plus leadership positions. UCLA is my top choice for film! I really hope that I'll get in (2019!!).

I envy all the students who got admission at UCLA. I applied 3 times to Luskin School Urban Planning Department, once for MS and twice for Ph.D. Got admission offer for MS without funding, so couldn't take the offer. Then got rejection each time for Ph.D. Last time I applied for fall 2018 while I was already doing my Ph.D. at UIUC and got a rejection just today. I don't know why I can't stop applying there, but, this is it. Anyway, congratulations and kudos to everyone who got admission. Hope you all succeed in your journey.

I just went on a field trip here on Thursday February 23rd, 2012. I got so inspired. I've always liked UCLA but after my visit there, I LOVE it, it's my dream school. It has such a great campus. Seeing all the students walk around going to classes and just everything about it has motivated me to work harder if I really want to get in. Im just a sophomore in high school, and I can't wait for my next to years to end because I'm actually excited for college. I just really hope I get in to UCLA. I

UCLA received 90,000 applicants worldwide this year... 25,000 more than any other university in the world... Most NCAA championships, beautiful campus, top ranked medical hospital... I could go on and on. I'm not a Bruin, but I see why worldwide everyone wants to go to this school :) keep it up Bruins!

I'm a 13 year old from Scotland and this is my dream university, when I'm 14 I'm allowed a Saturday job. Every single chance I get to work and make money I will take so I can save up to move to L.A. I hope someday I can go to UCLA. It has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. I first got this great idea when I watched full out the movie. It really inspired me and especially Ariana Berlin. She is a great role model for me and I want to follow in her footsteps. UCLA is so important to me and I really want to go there. +Kerry Smith Hi,I looked it up and i believe the average GPA is 4.3 so it will kind of decrease your chance in getting in but if you get involed in alot of things in school it could help and UCLA look for leadership.
