Welcome to the Podcast!!!! 🎀So excited to chat with you all 🎀SO, please introduce yourself & your business here!
I have learned so much watching your channel and now I look forward to hearing from you and others. Best of luck.
I'm looking forward to these podcast and see what they are about. I'm a full time employee, mom, and business owner (Simonsayz Creations). My biggest struggle right now is social media and knowing the quantity of custom apparel I should bring/make for a vendor event. All my socials is my business name.
Excited for this. I would love if you talk about markets and how to link your sales to your Etsy shop.
Hello! I work part time as a nurse at a speciality clinic and run my small business. I’m at a weird point where I’m getting busier and in limbo about leaving my part time job. My business is Make It Mama and I do custom embroidery, HTV, and sublimation designed tees, mugs, tumblers, baby items, aprons etc.
Hi Ashley, I’m so excited for your podcast. I recently retired but decided to start a small embroidery business (Steep & Cork) to keep busy. I’ve learned so much from watching your KZread channel, and even bought my Melco from Ron - thanks 🤩 Any small business tips are always helpful, so keep them coming. Wishing you and your family continued success in your business journey 🙏

Suzanne!!!!! I’ll never be able to forget your name after embroidering your monogram! I’m so glad you started your business and are enjoying the Melco!! Thank you so much for being here for your kind words❤️❤️❤️
This is great! I’m still a novice to embroidery in general started learning back in June of 2023. I have a unique job in which I manage a brick and mortar shop where our focus is same day embroidery and more of a boutique style of embroidery a lot of custom work for customers locally and in house custom creations. We are located in a small town (Bell Buckle Tn) and even as small as it is we see 500k ppl annually. So getting ppl isn’t the problem I’m just here to absorb all the business side of embroidery and best practices b/c I’m just coming up with procedures and ideas as I go! My boss lets me do whatever I deem appropriate and create whatever I think might do well. We do not have a website just social media which is my biggest question should we invest in a website as well? We sell gifts and other merchandise along with the decorated apparel I create. Looking forward to glean all the wisdom. Our shop name is Bell Buckle Embroidery and Gifts
Pricing!! I just started my business in June of last year! Simple Sublime Designs, LLC. Im currently only doing custom embroidery. Im working on adding DTF & DTG! But honestly, im really struggling with pricing. I truly feel like im undercutting myself because everyone wants something custom either really cheap or practically free. My work speaks volumes for itself & everyone has only loved my work, but i get a lot of one offs & no one wants to move forward when i send the price. Ive stopped charging for digitizing to try & get the sale, but the customers pretty much ghost me. Ive talked to a few other business owners & they seem to think its because Im running out of my house, but truthfully people dont realize, im not just printing an image & pressing it on it shirt, embroidery takes work! I dont know, im trying not to give up! But also, marketing is difficult for me as well! Im looking for grants since we are a woman owned & veteran owned business, but everything seems to be scams. Sorry, im just on the struggle bus!
I recently quit my job to stay home with my sick child. Now that she is doing much better I'm trying to scale my business. I sell mostly through fb market.

So good to see you again! Looking forward to your weekly podcast. I work full time in an office and have an Etsy shop-MeMe’s Needle ‘n Thread. I need a lot of help with social media.
How exciting 😊 I’m a stay home mom of 3 I started doing embroidery as a way to keep myself busy after struggling with depression and anxiety! I really want to grow and do it as a full time job but sometimes I get discouraged;(. My etsy shop is BJ’s embroider & more
Great 1st Podcast! I do embroidery as a side hustle (with a full time job). No shop yet, just word of mouth and some shares on Facebook. Trying to put together a Facebook page!
Side hustle/beginning business Farmhouse Stitches & Crafts. How to make videos would be helpful.
Hi! How exciting, I’m all ears! One business struggle probably is consistency, mostly because the kids are still small but I also need to hold myself more accountable and get to work. Working on it 🙏

yay! so glad you are here! Oh consistency is for sure one of my greatest struggles too.. especially if you have little ones! Hopefully we can encourage each other and grow! One of my favorite tips that makes me consistent is batching! Whether its batching and scheduling social media content for my small business, batching my home tasks, or batching our orders (doing all embroidery at once or all the shipping at once) it helps my brain so much and helps me be more consistent !!! -Have a great Day!
Congratulations! I’ve never listened to a podcast before 🤦🏽♀️. I look forward to what you have to share 💕🌸💕 ~Joanalee

@TheMonogramMompreneur Yes! I’m hesitant to post much stuff in case it really takes off, as life is pretty busy. ;)
Hello! I have single needle Brothers machine. In your opinion, if I want to start selling Etsy, what would be the easiest item to embroider on a single needle? TIA
@TheMonogramMompreneur

I would probably say baby items, they are smaller and things like bibs, baby hats, burp cloths and onesies can be easily hooped on a single needle! also monograms and names vs. applique (one color thread vs. multiple thread changes!
Thank you for this video.. Are going to open another channel for your podcast Im struggling with stabilizers for tshirts..

hey! I don't think I am going to do another channel, KZread lets me upload Podcasts to this channel so, I am going to stick with this same channel unless I see it negatively affecting it! Hopefully it works well together! For your question on Stabilizer, what type of t-shirts are your embroidering?
