Very Trill Massive unemployment arose from automatization, "genism" as a new kind of oppression of those who weren't genetically engineered. New conflicts between those who decided to remain organic and those who turned into cyborgs. We will have to deal with slippery topics like whether sentient AI should be created and if so, whether it should have basic human rights or not, or whether we should approve cloning. We will explore our solar system and build first colonies on Mars and Moon. We will have to deal with uncontrolled population growth in poor countries and immortality of the people in wealthy countries, which probably will close their borders for foreigners from undeveloped countries. Telepresence and full immersive VR will cause decay of classic interhuman relations. Also politically we will have to face neo-luddism on the one site and robot's rights activists on the other. We will try to build world government, probably by giving more privileges to UN, or by combining continental unions like EU and AU into one organism. Future will not be as fine and dandy as we want it to be. It will be really hard time.

We are hardwired to give more importance to bad things than good things. It is just a bias we have that help us to be alert and prepared. The problem is we are horrible predictors even with mathematics and science can accurate but can a margin of error or prone to mistake. Having this bias is not good nor bad. But having too much tendecy to this can lead to apathy, pessism , passivity and can even be paranoid if one is not careful. I wouldn't too much on the future. It is okay to think in the future for fun or because you are planing your future but not to extent to obsession and mortification like some peoole do.

dude look at the tesla it can drive by itself at times and keep you in the lane without even touching the wheel. also can brake and accelerate for you. look it up. Sean Dafny The big theme for this future, if things go like they have so far, is that yes, we'll have ever greater challenges, but also even greater ways to respond to these challenges, and make them turn out to be, at worst (in the scale of things) minor to major annoyances, not disasters. Though like always (its nothing new), there will be disasters of sorts. But again, better and better ways to deal with them.

Keen ☆ There's already technology called cryopreservation, that is freezing a body in very low temperature with a goal to unfreeze it when technology will give us opportunity to repair damages in the brain due to freezing procedure (we're learning now how to minimize those damages up to minimum). So if your parents wouldn't be able to get benefits from genetic engineering or tissue cloning/stem cell farming, they could use cryogenics to just preserve their body and brain up to when we will be able to help them.

The particles have group behaviors though. For the most part these can be accurately modeled. The trick is that many of these groups are relatively small and affect the larger ones, and covering the entire scope of the Earth while modeling everything at once is too much for computers today to handle (not to mention non-meteorological factors that can affect the weather). There will be a threshold reached where it's easily 90% or more accurate all around the world (and will only improve).
