Welcome Swallows in flight

A portfolio of photographs and footage of Welcome Swallows shot with my OM-1 and 150-400mm f4.5 TC1.25X lens. The BIF (Bird in Flight) photos were made possible, for me, with the EE-1 dot sight.
I find the dot sight has dramatically increased my keeper rate for BIF. Nevertheless, these zippy little birds are very challenging for me. I have found that attaching a wooden grip to the foot of the telephoto lens helps me achieve more convenient and smoother panning as I follow the birds darting about and shoot in burst mode (C-AF and 50 frames per second). I demonstrate the ergonomics of the grip in this video.
The agility of the OM-1's auto-focus and bird (subject) detection has allowed me to capture images that were impossible for me with my previous camera body.
