Fun fact: DOS' rules were so confusing and boring that Mattel had to release a "second edition" of the game last year that got rid of some cards and updated the rules to be more like actual UNO lmao

I own dos two and its still confusing. my friends dont even wanna play it with me cuz no one can understand it. (No actually I am for real. I own many many UNO Version including SKip Bo and such. They liked ONO 99 the most for some reason and the only gam ethey did not wanna play with me was DOS SecondEdition. We played all the others.)

the reality of calvin and hobbes makes me cry as an adult thinking back to reading the comics, i loved their relationship but as an adult realizing hobbes was most likely just a toy and it was all imagination is strangely sad in my head

When I was in inpatient we played ‘no rules uno’. Essentially, no one could choose between playing stacks or not, then a couple people would start cheating but we’re being funny about it. It ended in the game being so frustrating that the first person to throw down all their cards won.

is playing hundreds of rounds of uno in inpatient just a universal mental hospital experience? cause we’d do the same when i was in inpatient!

Fun fact: the developer behind the Deltarune crossover fangame "Delta Traveler" programmed a version of Uno into their game as an optional minigame. They even added in the "say Uno when you're down to two cards" mechanic. The version in the game is similar enough to what im used to; first one to play all of their cards wins.

Coming from Chemicards. Gotta say those 2 images at 8:32 really fit the thumbnail theme that's been going on with the episodes.

I found and bought a set of Dos cards in a charity shop once, a few years ago. I had previously thought it was a photoshopped joke.

Technically, the actual Uno rules allow stacking cards that skip a player, but only when there are two players.

I clicked on this video thinking it's the best crossover between Massacres Mansion and Choopo And then it actually was whoops

Every time at my youth group I bring a copy of Uno so we can play what we call "Spicy Uno:" -If a 7 is played, you must slap it on the deck and the last person to do so draws a card. -The "jump-in" rule applies (if you have the exact same card as the one on the deck, you can play it out of turn) -If a 4 is played, no one can talk until another is played (1 word = 1 card) -If you have no cards to play, you can ask others to give you cards, but they can bluff and give you trash

I feel like no one on this planet knew the rules to Uno

This has quickly become one of my favorite channels

I haven’t heard of Uno Amalgam until now, but it sounds like it might be the most chaotic thing to ever exist

Uno Flip has been the source of many core memories. We played it a lot back in my flat at uni and it was chaos. I love the added element in getting to see the back of everyone’s hand so when someone flips the deck, you have to remember what action cards they had. The amount of times we would all keep placing down +5 cards until one unlucky soul had to pick up 20-30 cards. It was magical. My favourite though were definitely the “Pick up until you get card” which me and a friend had fun with. Every so often we’d remove 1-2 purple cards from the deck over the course of a few months. And eventually it got to a point where if someone was told to pick up ‘til they got purple, they’d be picking up most of the deck. Good times.

"I think the magic behind UNO lays behind making your friends suffer for an extended period." This was, without a doubt, the idea in the board room of those who manufactured the game.

I took a choopo and this was what was left in the bowl.

I always got inspired to write stuff on the custom wild cards by way of the "or draw 25" meme. My first, for example, was "get slapped or draw 10."

Achievement Hunter also had Uno: the Movie, where they unintentionally played a single game of Uno for over 2 and a half hours

I'm gonna use your custom card in the next game of uno I play. I do not expect to live longer than that. (4:58)

Someone should make a version of uno combining all of the existing ones, some sort of uno amalgam

UNO show em no mercy has me on a chokehold and not in a good way 💀. This game actually is beyond brutal if the cards are played right

The Harry Potter uno also has an invisibility cloak with it as well, where you can pretty much dodge a card. My mom and I used to play it all the time when it came out in the early 2000s.

Hearing about uno amalgam genuinely gave me a sense of horror…

i play uno everyday with my friends during our lunch break, its the edition where theres blank wild cards. our rules: someone says uno for you before you: draw two, lie about card amount (for swap hands): draw two, call uno on someone when they have more than one card: draw two, and stacking. plus we dont write on the cards you get to just make a rule when you play it, we do vote to see if the rule is too op though.

i love this video. i collect uno, and rn i have 30 ish (not including duplicates). i loved seeing all the ones i have in real life :) my collection is ongoing, and i dont play each one, but this vid is awesome and makes me like the game more than i did before. made me smile today.

My family got so heated with fake rules that we HAD to play biblically accurate scoring system

One of my biggest achievements in life was winning a round of Minecraft Uno against 7 other people, one of them being my teacher. The additional rule being a Creeper +3 card.

I want to point out Uno itself is a variant on Crazy Eights. So, all these versions of Uno are also variants of Crazy Eights.

I love UNO. Wanna break up? Play a game of UNO. Wanna get your family members to leave a room? Play a game of UNO, they'll leave once a round gets too long. Wanna get something off your chest? Play a game of UNO, shout it during the game, no one will care enough to pay attention. Perfect for every occasion!

When I was in rehab we had an uno game with the custom cards in it and my pod unanimously wrote “call Morty [me] short or draw twenty cards” on all the cards when I was in the bathroom. But the caretakers deemed that as bullying so they had to rewrite all the cards. Someone wrote “do five hundred jumping jacks or draw fifty cards” and of course, because it’s rehab, and because it’s UNO, someone actually did it.

I've played Uno for years and I literally never knew before now that it ever had points.

I once put on the custom uno card that the next person had to take the whole discard pile. Biggest mistake of my life. It was like playing the card game War (game length-wise) but since it was uno and betrayal and frustration is higher than war since it is more of a mindless game, everyone in my family was just so pissed.

We played UNO No Mercy! Without the 25 rule and the game went on for 1 hour and 37 minutes.

Pickup 52 with chemicards is gonna be crazy
