I don't think the weird Al band gets enough credit. They have played parodies of every genre of popular music since the early eighties. Very talented musicians.

Absolutely. You know Al starts writing immediately when "Give It Away" comes out and is clearly a hit. He's got to get the spoofs out fast while the source material is still hot and culturally relevant. So he goes to his bassist and says "Listen, I'm writing a RHCP parody, I need you to figure out Flea's bassline, we're recording Friday." Yes that band is amazing, they have to learn and master these songs by ear very quickly.

This reminds me of; when I first came over to the East San Jose Tully Rd Chuck E. Cheese Pizza Time Theater, I've seen the modern day VG (video game) machine that spits out ticket stubs. This VG (video game) machine is called 'Quarry Quest,' it features the 'Flintstones.' And it's true you know.

Kobe Busia Kind of like keeping stats on my favorite team, I got into checking out views on Weird Al and my personal nemesis to Al, Bart Baker. I don't like him because he's made millions, not with brains and talent, but by being a total jerk to the artists he parodies. I don't respect that. I hate to see this low level humour rewarded with popularity. But it is. He has millions of views on youtube, leaving an exceptional talent like Al, in the dust. I recently watched a Making of Straight Outta Lynwood video and was blown away by Al's musical abilities. That's why I posted that comment.

Here's why Yankovic is so dangerous. RHCP 'Give it Away', released Sept. 4th, 1991. Yankovic 'Bedrock Anthem', released Nov. 16th, 1993. And it's held up better. Think about that! And soak in the appreciation for everyone. Because one cannot exist without the other. And we love them both.

He did not have a good attitude about it. I thought, “Wow. Really?? You’re really gonna be like that?” I think someone takes himself way too seriously...” 🙄
