    Amazing stuff brother, I love it! 👊🏻 I've also seen crazy jumps forward in front lever purely from weighted pullups. And I even automatically unlocked OAP with pure weighted pullups, no training at all! 😁

    Super useful thanks a lot! I was looking for a way to get some more reps on my oap! I can do about 2 reps per arm but I want more so I'll definitely try this!

    Great and informative video with very clear demonstration. I just started training the front lever about 2 weeks ago. Very difficult. I'm 65 now, may never get it but it's fun. Thank You very much. You made it look very easy. I also looked your muscle up video. Great one too!

    @@manucevallos2805yes I can hold a 3 sec good form( no hip sagging) . For me the front lever comes more easily than the strict muscle up.

    @@mikekn7033I’m curious I’m 26 years old 190lbs 5 ft 11 I can hold the 1 leg front lever for 10-12 secs and straddle for 3-5 secs took me 1 year to achieve the straddle front lever is it possible for me to front lever ? I can muscle up ,handstand,tuck back lever,human flag and 1 arm push ups.

    Man I wasnt watching your videos for few months and meanwhile you buffed as hell and grew a beard, you look really good! Are you still doing just (weighted) calisthenics exercises on triceps (dip, bench dip etc) or do you do also some gym exercises (Overhead DB extensions, close grip Bench etc)?

    It's such a valuable advice, this way we don't waste our time! Thanks for sharing wisdom! Also if you accept a constructive critique I would tell you that you could made the video at least 2 min shorter and smoother by cutting the little adjustments that you are doing during the explanation. For example when you correct the camera angle, when you turned to show the fron part of the archer Pull Up drill and so on. It's just a KZread consumer point of view, we like to think that every second that we're watching a vid it's giving us something and I believe this tip can carry your videos from good to great.     When it comes to benching you can do like dips or OHP to Improve you bench. But when it comes to weighted pullups I have a hard time finding Good accessory exercises. Rows don't really have a good transfer and doing lat pulldowns is the exact same movement pattern and I still stall (plateau).

    So the cue is basically to push down onto the bar similar to a front lever raise/Press then bend at the elbow

    wow, I understand weighted pull ups build overall base strength and used to think it would automatically carry over to the oap. Turns out, you have to be very specific with it and the oap training itself as well. Great video!

    Trung Le I noticed that when doing oap it’s more scapula then your lat. when I focus more on my scapula instead of my lay oap became easier.

    Still helpful after more than 3 years :) Would the carry over from arched chinups be as high as from pullups since you usually don't have that much retraction doing chinups? Just asking cause i can move more weight doing chinups :) thanks and keep up the great content 💪

    I think the difference is not too significant! But if your pull up is much weaker (>10% difference) it might be worth spending some time witj that lift

    I have a question. Do you rotate the grips on the pullups? Is it easier to progress by using different styles or you just focus on one variation for long time before switching?

    @@jessunandbrahma3184 I change regularly. Eventually when I come back to the older variation I am stronger once I get better at tougher one. For me the toughest is underhand and especially with hands closer. I got better and my best variations exploded.

    You can do whatever you want. I am not a fan of close grip because it puts a lot of stress on the wrists and elbows

    In the pull up where should your feet be? In front of your hips or behind you? And should you cross them or keep them uncrossed?

    Don't cross them. Just try to work with as much posterior chain tension as possible.

    Think about as if you need to retract it fully, and then you will end up with a good amount =D How far you can retract is also pretty individual

    Hi I have a question .do I always need to do a dead hang at the bottom of every rep and then engage scapula then pull up for more ROM?Or is it better to just engage the scapula at the bottom of every rep

    The more specific the exercise the better it helps. But pull ups will always be needed to get the volume done since you can't rep a lot of explosive stuff
