Awesome video and I’m starting a build like your. Your last plywood video was awesome and knowing the pressure treated ecolife el2 can be used is a game changer. Seeing how this is a older video I’m looking forward to binge watching the series and how the outcome is in the end. I have a old v haul 15’ “jon boat” my father-in-law gave me. I was going to fix it up get the motor running good again and once I got the motor fixed he gave me the titles to it telling me to enjoy it and take my 2 year old out fishing. We been working on it everyday after work he’s helps as much as a 2 year can and I love every second. Where’s that screw drive??

This is a really nice quality build. You've done a tremendous job so far! Congrats! I do have a few questions, how exactly are you attaching the angle aluminum to the sides of the boat for your frame to screw to? If you could do it over would you coat the wood in any kind of waterproofing? & Do mind giving a total price for the build after its all said and done? Thank you I look forward to finishing all your videos, keep it up!!

Thank you so much for the good feed back. So to answer a couple of your questions real quick. Treating the wood So this is pressure treated wood. It has already been treated. But I do have plans on painting the frame and under sides of the hatch with black paint oil base. Also I did a special video on the treated wood and aluminum. It's a huge convecity. Treated wood and aluminum dont go together. The aluminum side rails The side rails are connected to the boat buy aluminum rivets. It has relief cuts to help follow the bend of the boat 3rd cost So I will do a video in the future/couple of weeks about the cost, the do's and the don't do's lol. But as of right now I think I am around 1300 bucks. That's with the 800 buck trolling motor. Lol I have alot of stuff that still needs to be installed for the livewells and odds and ends! Thank you for taking your time to watch my video and also commenting on it!

If you have noticed already..... pressure treated plywood corrodes/ eats into aluminum. I would remove it if I were you
