Watching this while baking sourdough cinnamon rolls for my neighbor who just had a baby while half my kids are doing their homeschool work and the other half is making mud pies outside. It feels unreal sometimes. What a blessed life to be a mom !

Something my friends and I have enjoyed doing for birthdays is painting canvases together!

I loved the Christian music in your video. The picnic looked so amazing and what a joy to have such wonderful friends. I have so much fun watching your videos. I am a grandma, so love seeing your children grow. Mine are all adults now.

I just celebrated my 40th bday. My friends threw a "Downton Abbey" tea party for me. You wouldn't have to use the TV show theme. They decorated with China sets (that we never get to use) and fresh flowers everywhere. They had dollar tree frames spray painted gold with pictures of all us in them. They got fake pearls and tiaras/headbands from Shein online and we all felt like countesses, lol. So fun. 👑👸

I love how you are celebrating each other's birthdays! Restaurants are so expensive now. Having it at home is brilliant. You are likely having a better meal and a lot more fun than you could have in a restaurant. You are so fortunate to have such a lovely group of like-minded friends to do this with. Blessings, Janell

My friends and I love celebrating our birthdays almost every year, not just milestones. Last year for mine they had a lunch at someones home and another girl gave a watercolor tutorial. We’ve done small floral arrangement tutorials as well for similar gatherings. Most importantly we just celebrate life and friendship! Asking good questions and sharing encouragement I love that you’re doing this too! Friendship among women is so special and is to be treasured! One thing we’ve found helpful is to merge a couple friends together by proximity to birth dates. And gifts aren’t expected!

Love Skip Bo! Your explanation of your friends’ 30th birthdays and how you go around and give genuine compliments for each one was so sweet and made my eyes swell with tears. What precious times and memories to look back on!❤

Skip Bo is great for learning number recongnition for kids! Another favorite with my grandchildren aged 4 and 6 is a card game called Blink. It is fast moving and no reading required. :)

Loved the realness in this video but mostly that it turned out on a joyful note! I can't wear perfume but I've been using rosewater spray when I go out. It's light so I'm not sure how long it actually lingers. I don't usually like floral scents but it doesn't bother me. The pink ballerina skirt is beautiful on you and I would wear it with a t-shirt. The shirt you had on was actually perfect. Vonnie knows what she's talking about. Wear the princess skirt of course! lol

This was so fun. Soaking in the spring vibes while freezing in “sunny Socal”! Skip Bo was my parents’ favorite game to play in their retirement years. They played, without fail, every morning. Mom beat Dad every time, but he willingly stuck with the morning routine!

I just wanted to say that I just tried your bacon ranch potato recipe and it was so YUMMY. I had to make a few adjustments bc my son is allergic to eggs so instead of the ranch dressing I did more sour cream with a ranch packet and then a splash of milk to thin it out a little. Non the less, i got a huge thumbs up from all three of my kiddos!

If the next 30th birthday is in April, how about something to do with April Showers/Easter.....everyone brings a parasol or umbrella for the "showers" and wears a pretty Easter bonnet or hat. You could have tulips, daffodils, spring type flowers. Everything "spring" themed. Your circle of girls looks so fun. I belong to a wonderful group of friends and very very sadly, a little over a year ago, 2 of our girls passed away unexpectedly. One was only 61 and one was 56. We were pretty devastated by their loss. We have continued to carry on and meet once a month. We always keep 2 chairs open for them. Cherish your friends!! Your dresses are all so cute. I can't believe how much Miller has grown...he is such a doll as are Fletcher and Voni! Thank you for taking us along on your week!

That looks so fun… I’m going to see my friends tomorrow… for a brunch. We had kind of let our group lag and now that we are all grandmas for quite a long time we are having our second brunch tomorrow. I think we are too old to sit on the floor though. That horse and buggy church is that one of the ones that does cars one Sunday and horse and buggy the next. There are about 5 of those around according to a picturesque book I just looked at about the old order/Horning Mennonites. I was so fascinated by that fact I told my husband we want to leave early and go by the one in Leola 2 Sundays in a row somehow we never get it done.
