I think there are fans of SNL who are used to seeing Kate McKinnon and thinking that Kate is great. And she is, she's phenomenal but Cecily is as good and in some roles better. No, let me amend that they are both phenomenal. Kate has the more conventional appearance and more easily checks boxes for people. Cecily though is brilliant. SNL had gotten stale for a while but with these two and a few other very talented cast members it has improved.

Tennessean here. OMG she's the worst. Please keep moving here people. Nashville is such a wonderful place. We can change this. We can be better than what we are.

A woman is an adult human female. Denying this has allowed Title IX violations which has harmed athletes like Emma Weyant who had the NCAA championship stolen from her because they let a man compete. Or the women who were raped by Karen White, a rapist who was allowed into a women's prison.

What is that waste of hairspray even even doing on the Judiciary Committee? No law degree even, and gets to question judges?

Cecily Strong is the most talented SNL cast member and it aint even close. One of the few Golden era SNL level cast members on the show.

A woman is an adult human female. Denying this has allowed Title IX violations which has harmed athletes like Emma Weyant who had the NCAA championship stolen from her because they let a man compete. Or the women who were raped by Karen White, a rapist who was allowed into a women's prison.

Actually women have come a long way and are fighting for fair treatment in the workplace and sports. How can you legislate equal treatment for something that has no definition. Women deserve better than that.

The question wasn't aimed towards women's rights. It was aimed towards "progressive teachings", transphobia, etc. Not women's rights. We know what a women is. We know a woman is born with femal genitalia and reproductive organs (and im sure there's plenty more). We get that. But you can't be oblivious to the fact it was aimed towards gender identity. Blackburn should've asked her view on women's rights and equal pay etc if anyone wanted to play the "womens rights" card. You know, relevant questions. I watched the whole thing (bot the SNL skit vut the hearing). It's just another tactic to get the conservatives mad. Sorry to break it to a lot of people but once a man has a changed to a woman, post op, and their resumes show them as a female, and on paper theyre a femal, they're going to be fighting for the same women's rights as any other female. Thus squashing this tactic from Blackburn.

Womens rights are not a joke and are not something to be sacrificed for trans identifying males. That in itself is patriarchal and misogynistic. There is no such thing as biologically transitioning to a female, sex is innate and it is impossible to go from one to another. If you were born with XY chromosomes you will die with XY chromosomes regardless of what you do to your body. Transgender women don’t fight for female rights because they’re not affected by it, they’re not affected by abortions, maternal death, access to birth control & pads and tampons. They’re affected by NONE of these things. If they really wanted to fight for females rights they would listen to the women who feel that we are being erased and that our rights are being threatened.
