WEEKEND GETAWAY | RIDE UP COW CREEK ROAD | KAWASAKI Z400 | SPRING 2022 | 4K POV | RAW ENGINE SOUND
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Welcome.
Just another POV rider.
Riding out of Houston, Texas.
Sharing my rides for all to see.
In this video, I ride north via Texas County Rd 25 aka Cow Creek Road coming from West Colombia, Texas.
I spotted this road when scouting potential roads to ride this spring on Google Maps.
This road has a little bit of everything: long straights, winding roads, bridges and farms.
Part of it is surrounded by three lakes, a prairie preserve and is a few miles south of Brazos Bend State Park 🐊 (tpwd.texas.gov/state-parks/br...)
You will see lots of beautiful sights, trees of all kinds and of course...COWS! 🐄🐄🐄
Temps reached a max of 93F.
Enjoy!

What a great ride!
Zips right along! Sounds good.
I've had my Z400 for 3 months, just about to hit 600 miles. It's my daily commuter to work, which is about 10 miles round trip. 😀

@@cherry4üü Thank you!
one of the best investments I made for my z400 was the puig windscreen. made riding so much more enjoyable. Dig the video btw.

Thanks! I've considered getting a windscreen. How much wind deflection does the PUIG screen offer?

@@morbidsteed a lot, I first bought the one kawasaki offers and it did a pretty good job but stepping up to the puig was a night and day difference. I was on the interstate Saturday going 80mph and deflected enough wind that it wasn't over bearing.

Interesting. I will consider this as a possible next mod for the steed. Thanks!

Hey What's up! Mad respect to all riders from the Philippines!
Your smooth shifting is incredible. As a new rider, I'm still struggling with my downshifting...any advice?

Slipper clutch helps a lot. What helped me a lot is getting a feel for the friction zone on your bike and don’t fully squeeze in the clutch to shift. Notice that in my older videos I tend to fully squeeze in the clutch and release once I complete the shift. I stopped doing this. Instead, I use two (or one) fingers and instead of squeezing in the clutch all the way, squeeze in just enough to where the friction zone is and quickly release once you shift and roll on the throttle. There’ s a MotoJitsu video where he explains this better. Look up “motojitsu clutch” on KZread. Downshifts are the same. Only squeeze in the clutch halfway and release smoothly as you shift down and roll on the throttle. Also practice practice practice. Good luck!
Great video man I can’t wait until I get mine. How much do u pay for insurance?
@morbidsteed

Thanks and you're gonna love it! Its an awesome bike. Never gets boring. I have full coverage so I pay roughly 80 bucks a month for insurance. Since I live in a pretty large city with a bad reputation on driving, I went for the full coverage.
most new bikes are lean from the factory. Did you go to tune yours?
@morbidsteed
Жыл бұрын
No I didn’t tune.
How do you reduce wind noise when recording?
@morbidsteed
Жыл бұрын
I record audio using a standalone audio recorder (Zoom H1n) and have a wind muff over the mics. Then I place it in my backpack or anywhere wind doesn’t hit directly.
What phone holder is that? That thing looks solid as hell

lol it is a mount called andobil Bike Phone Mount that I bought on Amazon. I believe this is the one: tinyurl.com/53wr2xmn It was cheaper a year ago.
