The coworking. For me, each place is different. The ones I have used I can be highly productive. If it looks social then I do not go.

Anna, excellent run through, applicable to any contractor working from home., especially dressing for the part, organised office, going for walks. From my experience, I’ll add a point which is re-educating family and friends, who hear the “home” bit not the “working” bit. This may take time to get the point across… Also be ruthless with preserving the Saturday day off, I ended up going phone off on Saturday and on my prep day Sunday. Otherwise you’ll get the “I’m sorry to call you on your day off but…”

Steven, I absolutely agree, everyone needs to be on your support team or you'll feel you have to leave the house to get work done - which is not the point. Saturdays - people have tried... and failed!! They are mine :) alllll mine.

Thanks for sharing Anna. Decision fatigue and prospecting are really good points.

Great suggestion! Thank you. Yes, when you go freelance you are now four or five different roles - and if you want to maintain a six figure income you will be busy 😉
