This was a great video on the transition from teaching to becoming an Instructional Designer. I literally just got a job offer as an Instructional Designer for a Banking Mortgage company in Colorado. I taught for one year as a teacher and before that I was a Training and Development Specialist. I enjoyed teaching but could not see it as an "forever job". I received alot of rejection from corporate businesses because they thought working in teaching was completely different than working in business. That is true, however, I like how you mentioned if you are working in Learning and Development, it is the same everywhere. I honestly had to explain that to a few employers. This is a great video that is needed for all who are thinking of transitioning out of education.

I am interested in a remote job. I'm a single parent that teaches in the public school, & I do not have enough hours in the day with a 4 yr old. My daughter & I are constantly sick. I've taught for 28 yrs and think it's time for change.

I taught elementary to nine years, and when I was ready to be done with it all, my husband accepted a new position in another state. It was the perfect time to switch careers, and after only getting two interviews in a year of endlessly searching and applying, I recently have started a new ID position, but now I have serious imposter syndrome. Your videos are PERFECT for my situation and giving me confidence that I need. I feel so relieved I'm not alone in this super specific situation, and I can't thank you enough for your videos, they mean the world to me ❤️❤️

I am a middle school teacher, and it's boring and frustrating. Teaching in the K-12 environment is boring. I have to transition to an edtech role in order for me to remain in some aspect of education.
