It depends on your period. There are different types of pain killers. The meds you take depends on the intensity and severity of your pain. I'd recommend you see your doctor to come up with a pain management plan. Some people get relief with tablets like paracetamol/acetaminophen but other people need stronger medications. So consult your doctor.
