Love that you called Kobo the "canadian Kindle" lol we have it in Italy to! In fact, it's the only one compatible with the free e-books made available by public libraries, which is why I would have wanted a Kobo... but my bf got me a Kindle.

Love the video. My highlight is that I am doing my first Buddy Read. We are reading Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Fairies. We are doing the Buddy Read on StoryGraph. As part of this Buddy Read, I am annotating a book for the first time

I loved this, Jamie. It seems you are at least sticking to the same trainer, unlike me, who bounces between trainers, but they are all amazing. The highlight of my week is I am pushing myself to do more standing workouts after my doctor told me at my physical a few months ago to do more bodyweight stuff when I can. Those sandwiches look so good mmmmmummm.

Haha I never did get back around to chatting about that, did I? 😂 Long story short, I don’t want to point out names or anything - but the organizer of the previous book club decided to make a living out of doing it. Which is absolutely fine, but the way she started charging everyone more money for certain things was just not morally right to me. I’m not into the commodification of friendships!

I think I had the same problem with my previous Kobo, you may need to reset it. If I remember well (because this is an old Kobo) you have to slide de red button for A LOT of seconds (at least 20), until the screen does something. If it does nothing, try the black button the same way ;) Let us know if it works ;) Love from France :D

If you have an account on Kobos website for buying books, you can see all your books there. Don't know if that was a thing when you used yours though.
