I live in a town that has a LOT of little "fitness parks". each one is a pokéstop. and a skatepark, which I go to almost everyday to skate, is a gym. GG, Niantic.

I live on the boarder of the Yukon and British Columbia, The only pokestop in my town is the staples in the middle and there are like 3 spearows in the entire town. (On the bright side, Nianic was really nice to me and spawned a snorlax only a few hundred meters from my home c:)

+Sw4gzilla I live near a huge Resevoir in my city, and there's a bunch of parks there, so I usually go bike around it, which is about 16K, collect Pokestops and hatch eggs. It's very efficient.

As someone living outside any city limits, ...yeah, there's only Rattata and Pidgey here. Surprised there's even one gym within a mile.

In my country the war is between team mystic and team valor... Team Instinct is just chilling there and be like "Yeah, sure. Fight if u want too."

When the game came out, I was on a vacation in rural Florida, and I only caught 20 Pokémon in a week. The day I came back home, I went through a city and I got triple that before my phone decided to shit itself.

In Niantic's defense, they DID warn us about staying aware of our surroundings BEFORE the game boots up.

I just need to walk to the edge of my backyard to get stuff from a pokestop, its so convenient.

I'm pretty sure that the spawn rates are based on the amount of XM in the area from ingress, and XM was generated around players, so a larger population=larger playerbase= more Pokémon.
