How’s the drive with the antenna mounted at the top of the roof rack with it up position? Any flex while driving on the highway?

how close does the cell phone have to be to the internal antenna? like can use it outside with the doors close lets say 10 ft

What’s the heater setup on that tent to your left at the end of the video?

Is the exterior antenna flexible at all? I know you guys squeeze through some fairly confined areas.

Yes! It has a spring on it, kind of like a dune whip, or CB antenna. We also have the option to fold it down.

What service providers does this work for?

We don’t use automatic car washes so can’t comment as to how well the antenna would hold up. They make a shark fin style antenna that may work for that.

Sam Rightin it does boost data too, but it may still not be enough for a good experience with online gaming.

Mine doesn’t work as expected, maybe is defected, just work when is a weak signal but when is not signal is not getting any boost :(:(:(

that's odd. I do know they have to be installed correctly, and the antenna cannot interfere with the internal antenna. Make sure you have installed it and it isn't throwing an error light.

Did you read the manual ?? The antennas should be at least 20cm from person which doesnt look like you are lol

No one reads manuals. However it was 8 inches from any person at that spot. We put it there so it could be used without having to sit inside the car.

Needs! Haha. We went with HAM radio before this. We think this is a nice addition to the team, but definitely think team communication is more important first.
