First part got me dying
Where can I buy the adapter to connect the blue joolca hose to the Yakima road shower?
@discoverexpeditions
Sweet! What’s the connection on the Yakima you used to connect the joolca hose? Link?
why do u heat the road showers water, isnt it supposed to heat up from the solar energy on it? just more controlled heating?
Hey Rob - what table is that you're using?
Sweet setup.
Custom trailer?
After 3 years how are the shocks holding up ?
I'm trying to understand, why did you raise the tent so high? it looks ridiculously ugly, + you have the chance to topple over much more easily.
The tent is the height of two kayaks stacked underneath. It’s also higher to accommodate an awning and be tall enough to stand under. It proved to be very stable on the road
Cool vid
What happened to you guys?
Just curious if it comes with the adapter for a 3/4” fitting that you have on your tank?!
How did you mount the road shower to the side bar?? I can't figure it out??
The road shower has studs that come off the bottom and the side of it using carriage bolts. I went ahead and drilled holes in the yakima cross bard and bolted the shower to it.
Nice, simple fix. Didn't think about drilling through the brand new side bar😄.
I ordered mine today. Thanks for the vid on how it operates.
Wtf is not even pressurized water 🚿🤣😂
What quick disconnect is that from the cold water line to the water tank?
I’m also looking for this for the Yakima
Thanks the video. Looking at your Forester it appears you are using the OEM flush mounted roof rails and Yakima cross bars. Just guessing but the Falcon RTT, awning and additional racks, traction boards and shovel, you must be exceeding the dynamic load limit. Any issues while driving? Wanting to get a Falcon 2 for my Foz but I also have a small awning that combined will take me over the limit by at least 20-25 lbs.
Hey i really dig that trailer. Could you give us some walkthru of it, diy? Looks perfect for what i need!
I wish I could but we sold it a year ago! It really was a great trailer. In fact, it’s for sale right now at Lolo Overland in Troutdale. Since I had it, it now has full electrical too!
turn your music track down, too overpowering
NICE!🚴🏽♂️🇧🇷✍️
NICE!🚴🏽♂️🇧🇷✍️
Can you post where you got the awning brackets from?
The awning brackets are available from roofnest!
Does the strut handle the weight of the traction boards when the tent is deployed or do you have to always take it off before you deploy/open the tent? Thanks.
Traction boards alone are fine, but the gas and traction boards was too much. Also consider snow, that gets stuck on the boards and has closed on us before. We bought some clamps to fix this issue.
can you please provide an update on how the suspension has held up after 2 years? thank you
the ironman suspesion has been great! We now have it on our other trucks as well. The only thing we have changed is the spring weight for more vehicle weight.
Would this be good for cross country. How much lift clearance does stage 2 provide ? I would love something like this for my 4th gen.
Oh absolutely! We have them on all our rigs now! Over 100k combined miles and not one problem. It’s adjustable and anywhere from 2.5-3”
@@DiscoverExpeditions Thanks for the feed back. Its much appreciated.
@@wickedcrypto6004 of course! Let me know if you want more in depth
Why would you want to camp in that misery it must be 5° out I'm cold watching the video LOL
Haha it can get intimidating, but its fun for us to test our gear and skills!
How has it been with this kit? I’ve just put an order in for this kit would like input
Sorry about the late reply, the kit has been amazing. We all run it and have had not one issue. Only thing we have done is added stiffer springs from ironman to support more weight.
Planning on installing ironman foam cell pros 2inch lift, how is it after a year? First option is bp51 then i stumbled upon the ironmans
Absolutely amazing. We have them on all of our Toyota’s. Check our Instagram! We have plenty of weight too and run it hard, no problems!
@@DiscoverExpeditions followed :) how’s the on road performance?
@@babygroot3pubg648 absolutely perfect. We have front performance springs on all rigs, rear perforce plus on the 4 runner, and constant load leafs on the two Tacoma’s. It feels responsive and sporty but when expedition loaded still handles it well.
@@DiscoverExpeditions im sold i guess. Haha just waiting for my fj (ordered one) im from the philippines love your content! Keep em coming :)
Kind of looks like brokeback mountain to me he kept peeking in at him
a little peak doesn't hurt ;)
How long does the pressure from the tank last each shower?
about the a total of 5 gallons, most of the tank, or maybe 5 minuets of use. Depends how long you use the water
Mine doesn’t work as expected, maybe is defected, just work when is a weak signal but when is not signal is not getting any boost :(:(:(
that's odd. I do know they have to be installed correctly, and the antenna cannot interfere with the internal antenna. Make sure you have installed it and it isn't throwing an error light.
wow i thought i was bad you have 142,000 unread emails
hahahah, once it start to go it goes!
The upper control arm how is it holding up? does it squeak?
no squeak yet!
How is the ironman foam cell holding? I tried to get a shop to install mine on a Lexus GX and they said they don't want to touch Ironman products because the have lots of issues, but when I asked about what those issues are, they did not provide any specifics
We have not had problems with ours. The only thing to consider is the control arms are not adjustable. When you go with a 35" tire you may want to get something like the SPC.
The music is very distracting.
😂😂😂
I need a trailer like that one for my Suzuki Samurai
I have a 7 gallon Road Shower and 8# propane tank. So pretty much the exact same set up as you. Even after pressurizing the Road Shower to 40psi, I'm not able to maintain consistent pressure for the Hottap to continue firing. It's very inconsistent at best.
We ran into the same problem and are going to look into an electric pump and water tank to supply the joolca.
So this doesnt work then?
@@eda7875 I haven't had any luck. It seems that others have been able to make it work. I've moved on to the Glind system which is more full proof.
@@CBdesignbuild dam had a freezing shower yesterday WTF jacoola!
@@thomaswitgen4832 Cold plunge is all the rage now.
Can’t find a link for this set. Would you provide source for this kit?
How’s the drive with the antenna mounted at the top of the roof rack with it up position? Any flex while driving on the highway?
you think its durable enough to leave mounted outside on the roof of the van? then just connect the gas when needed?
I probably wouldn't due to rust issues.
Lol that’s funny
Was this the 3” lift stage 2? or the 2”? Thanks!
Stage 3 is adjustable from 2-3”!
How many showers do you get out of that 10 gal water tank?
great video on the Shower, side note - what are the awnings that you are using and how do you mount them to your roof nest? I have the Sparrow roof nest
sorry to be so off topic but does any of you know a way to log back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb forgot my password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me.
@Orlando Mordechai Instablaster ;)
@John Stanley I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
@John Stanley it did the trick and I now got access to my account again. Im so happy! Thank you so much, you saved my account !
@Orlando Mordechai Happy to help =)
Nice! Been thinking about ordering one... 73! K6RIK
Nissan exterra rear springs
Can you provide more detail about how your trailer is kitted out? I've already got a Joolca on order, and was just looking at the Falcon XL. I like the idea of having it on a separate trailer rather than the car. Maybe do a video on your trailer?
Funny enough this trailer just got sold! Happy to answer any questions. Loved the falcon on it. Trailer meant I could get a bigger tent and not have it on my car. Check out our Instagram for more photos but also please feel free to ask questions!
@@DiscoverExpeditions Awesome trailer! Does the person you sold it to have a KZread channel?
Do you think the pump will work for filling larger water tanks, like 30-40 gallons?
I would add a different pump for this, we are going to as well.
hey i was wondering if you can still open up your back hatch with the rtt on top with your configuration. Also is that front over hang an issue for daily driving?
