Insomniac did amazing the first game. But look at how much they've improved in their latest game. The way your tricks flow with the swinging is amazing, and the attention to detail on the animations is superb. Gotta love them for that.

@@Rek267 the story was actually great, it's just shorter. I loved the way Peter integrated his teachings, how Miles becomes his own Spider-Man, and the villians actually have a legitimate reason for being there in relation to the first game. Theres great plot twists, moral dilemmas, and power reveals. The only downside is that it is shorter so it's not as in depth as Peters, but it isn't meant to be.

From what I’ve seen through this evolution, Spider-Man finally quips to the nearest building rather than into the clouds. When I played Spider-Man (PS4) There have been times where I would fall into the ocean because I swung too far from the buildings. I like that it limited me to where I could go because that’s more realistic!

I remember not being able to do a jump on a boat mission in Spiderman 2 on the PlayStation 2 because I couldn't use the webs away from buildings and I liked that, including the fact that under the bridge you could cross the sea precisely because it served to hold the webs, happy that this kind of detail is still being maintained.

I love the fact that in the Miles Morales game, that you can see that he's a newbie and learning. Whenever he'd land on something, he'd stumble/wobble a little bit. I just finished the main campaign last night, so I wasn't paying attention to see if his confidence has changed but I'm sure it does.

Wow! The biggest leaps are clearly the two: Spider-Man 2 and Marvel's Spider-Man (2018).

The difference between Peter and miles is that Peter has a pro swinging sense he’s done it for years but miles just started and his swinging as 18 different swinging skills and 4 secret ones and his swinging is way cooler and more loose

I love how in all the major 3rd person Spider-Man games you can clearly see the web slinging get better and better, until we get to the PlayStation Spider-Man games, which are the pinnicle of web slinging in videogames in my opinion. I think the LEGO and Infinity games did his web slinging justice, especially for a game focused on multiple heroes instead of one

Ultimate spiderman’s graphics is ageless! it still holds up.. simply because they made it look animated instead of making it look life-like compared to the movie-game tie in.. Btw as much as i hate the swingin of the first tasm game.. i still like how the camera angle feels during the swings, it’s like you can feel the air breezing as you fall, jump or swing.. it has depths

I just wish we could have the animations of running on the ground when he swings low like in web of shadows

Spider-man 2 movie game started the realistic web swinging. And Web of Shadows started the whole web strike aerial combat. 2 awesome games from my teens.

Sure it's better gameplay-wise but the first one has a much better story. Also i wasn't a fan of how they pretty much made Miles a mere second option when Peter goes on vacation with MJ,Miles is meant to be New York's new hope,not just a sidekick or a substitute,hoping Marvel's Spider-Man 2 fixes that.

Up until Spider-Man Ps4, only Web of Shadows, Ultimate Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 had legit good-looking web swinging animations, speed and mechanics. Others were either linear, or weird like the TASM ones.

Amazing Spider-Man had the biggest graphics boost and improved web swinging animations alot

Insomniac really loves their fans.They did everything right!

0:27 that was my first spiderman game. Remember many nights Id play that not knowing what to do or where to go 😂😂 would just swing around randomly enjoying every moment of it

I just started playing Spider-Man remastered and I was kinda surprised the swinging wasn't like TASM 2 where your left and right triggers corresponded to your left and right hands in the game. It made swinging surprisingly immersive.

The third one is funny. I guess, he'd better run instead of swinging that takes forever.

Am I the only one who was nervous when he was swinging super close to the ground?

Web of shadows still have the most relaxing one😌

I get so lost in Spider-Man PS4… it just makes you feel like Spider-Man. The seining is so fluid and the combat makes you feels like a badass! I’m a big fan of that game.
