A little tune once in a while definitely makes me feel a little better . I woke up one morning signing Christmas songs out of nowhere because I felt something was wrong. My heart was hurting and I was trying to soothe myself. A few days after I found out that my 10 week baby wasn’t alive anymore. Also when I had a rough day, I sing my favorite karaoke songs in the car or , literally, right before bed.

I honestly have to say... when I was younger I use to... well I’m gonna say “crave” it because I loved singing , dancing , acting & stuff and being able to share my gift ! But now being older my personal life ,I’m honestly really shy or when it comes to doing things outside of that... and I hate having all eyes on me or being like around a lot of people... it makes me so anxious! So I like to take a beat back and give people around me the spotlight and let them share it with me or just completely let them have it and enjoy it!

As a New Yorker having to listen to people constantly singing or rapping and then begging for money on the subway (not to mention the wannabe Broadway singers warming up or going to auditions) I find all public singing to be annoying. When in public among strangers, silence is golden. Give the gift of silence and no eye contact (unless there's an emergency situation) lol

Actually I've been singing my Entire life and I do it subconsciously or do it when my anxiety is starting to get the best of me. I mean, I don't BELT in public but I hum to myself.

I have never seen someone hum in public lol IDK if its just me. In my experience it's something people naturally do while in the house cleaning or cooking but never have I been anywhere where people are humming. Is it just me?

Like Tam Tam said some of us just have a song on our heart and we need to get it out. NOW I do think there is a time and a place, because in some instances it's just plain rude to be humming and whistling but in others it's ok.
