The amount of effort and talent that went into this…only for my parents to use it as a punishment growing up 💔

I once gave my sister a handmade broom. Its handle was warped and uneven because the wood had grown with a honeysuckle vine wrapped around it-but that's what made the handle so interesting. (Naturally, the broom was for decoration, not sweeping.)

10/10, would invoque the devil with it again. The uneven handle makes steering in flight a tad tricky though.

The brooms are beautiful, although I was a little disappointed to see her trimming off the tips of the bristles. I suppose it is necessary to prevent shedding? I prefer brooms where the bristles have flagged tips. Is this a possibility with broomcorn?

What are the tools you are using? Where can they be purchased?
